Great atmosphere and staff, good selection of beers. The green room for the bands is comfy and has a loo. Sound system in the venue is great. Toilets are dated and ropey, adds vibe but not modern. Overall, great time!

I had the time of my life here. Celebrated birthdays with two different strangers, met a ton of amazing, fantastic people, the staff is super lovely and sweet and everyone is cool. The MUSIC IS OFF THE HOOK. Had so much fun dancing from everything to punk, Rick n roll, reggae and drum n bass. What’s a night! Thanks to everyone xx

A decent place for hanging out with friends... Mixed crowd of old and young. Ambience is cool, good service and great encouraging staff. Live music is something to look out for but is slightly on the higher side. Otherwise a good experience over all.

Nice little pub at the top of Victoria Hill in Swindon and has as a sideline a cosy little music venue. Tribute acts and local bands mostly, and good value. Reasonable prices for drinks and a pleasant spot for a pint or to see a band. Good value.

Great pub which serves fantastic food and a good range of drinks. Often supporting local musical acts and comedians from around the country with a rich history of fantastic acts. A definite if you enjoy live rock and indie music. Friday and Saturday are by far the busiest nights, arrive in good time if you want a table!

Really good vibe and a free jukebox night, people there were lovely - missing a star as a double jack Daniels and coke came to £8!! For less than a half pint, tiny little cups with very little in them! Beer proces were reasonable but probably won't go back due to spirits prices

A Top Drawer Quality traditional Pub and doesn't need to change one iota. Friendly helpful bar staff. And class clientele also has some quality local bands like Mark Colton & the Rotten Aces.

First time visit to this pub located near to Wood Street in Old Town Swindon. Attended a Rock concert featuring Revival Black and Scarlet Rebels. Bands play in a cozy room at the back of the pub. Very intimate venue with space for about 60 people. Band members mix with crowd which adds an intimate element to the experience. Sound quality pretty good.

Visited after freedom Day. Pleased that the staff were still all wearing masks. The place looked very clean and there was evidence of sanitiser everywhere. Why the dropped star? It was because they could not serve a half pint of orange juice and lemonade. Only a minor point and I would have liked to only take off half a star but the app doesn't allow that.

I love The Vic! Been going here for gigs for many a year! A variety of bands from all walks of life play here. From well known bands to newcomers, and with great acoustics, I fully recommend catching a gig here🤘 There is a pub/bar area as you walk into the place, where you can chill at the bar or lounge in the seating area. The stage itself is in the "basement" down a very short flight of steps, making the "rock feel" all the more authentic! Decent beers on tap and bottled beers in the fridges, along with a variety of spirits. There is a bar in the stage room, so no need to keep going up and down the steps 👍 All in all, it's always a great time in The Vic, so check it out!

Excellent old school pub and live music venue. Great beer really friendly staff and a really good mixture of live bands of all genres to suit any taste. Can get a bit crowded at the weekend as it's so popular.

Great alternative place with a rock and roll feel but plays various genres suiting most tastes. The ale was good so was the atmosphere with a foam machine in the mix. It can get very packed so I advise ordering two drinks at a time. A great place for adults of any age. I would have taken more pictures but it was Xmas eve and I was a little more than tipsy :D

This karaoke bar was a lot of fun. However, they don't give new comers a chance at all. The same guys were singing most of the night. Nevertheless, it was entertaining. Advice: put your song on the list very early, because after a few drinks you'd want to sing but won't get a chance to because of the regular guys hogging the mic

One of Swindon's best pubs. Young/mixed age friendly crowd. Live music bar at back with decent stage, also used for film screenings, talks etc. Friendly staff, bouncers and owner. Open later than most.

Great for live music. Not particularly card-friendly. You have to spend £5 to use a card, so you have to buy 2 drinks. People are increasingly using card as their main way of spending, so these limits are a bit old.

If you're going to see a band, call ahead as they may just not be on. Really good place in general but a bit iffy on scheduling. Having a first hand example right now as the band that's supposed to be on tonight just isn't. No explanation or anything. Irritating for me as I'm local but I'd avoid coming here from any distance as you could be let down.
