Ordered a sunday carvery and after reading so many bad reviews was worried but such a big serving and well cooked food! Would definitely order again.

Nice pub I'm sure but I was round the back trying to fix my scooter!

Went yesterday for two breakfasts. We had the gourmet which was really tasty and good produce. Tea and coffee were top notch. However, let down by the cleanliness of the place. We were sitting outside on the stage by the TV. The tables were sticky with old beer and food, the menus were filthy and sticky and the floor looked like it hadn't seen a mop in weeks. This is the problem when you are waiting so long for food, you tend to look around you. The waitress was great, Tasha. The two barmaids (long blonde ponytails) were busy doing nothing except short changing us by 7quid. You really need to get your cleaning up to scratch, especially these days.

Wasnt all that bad, but was late. Then the meat feast pizza I orederd was more like a roast dinner pizza, had roast pork and huge chunks of gammon on it. The hot wings were slimey and over covered with sauce. Do t think I'd order again

Just been here with wife for meal and had 16oz rump steak omg amazing and big portions, chips were huge, mushrooms cooked good, steak cooked perfect, peas nice, all good, big out door tables with good seating areas......keep up the top cooking guys.

The menu on the app isn't up to date. The menu has 2 pages but this wasn't clear when we ordered. Service was good. Had the football on. Food was nice. Only outdoor seating at time of visit

Fantastic pub recently moved to area and found this pub basic inside but megga friendly staff awsome food and 5stars. Cheap beer tetley 2.25 apint megga portions of food luv the plaice .tbis is the place to visit gr8 plaice .paul and dawn

Just had Sunday carvery 70th birthday meal for 6 really nice meal tasty plenty full well presented , very enjoyable would definitely recommend a try, thanks to the staff for supplying as requested made my day that bit more special .

I have frequented this establishment for some years and have always received a warm welcome. It has recently been taken-over by new management who seem friendly enough.
