Great pub super friendly staff and landlord

The Forester Arms is a friendly atmospheric pub which serves lovely home cooked food. A young couple run the pub and they are extremely friendly...The bar is situated at the bottom of Madeley High Street and also has a nice spacious open air place to sit. There are a few tables and you can choose where you want meals...I would recommend eating there as during this pandemic some public houses in Ironbridge that I visited were atrocious and the meals had soggy veg, half a chicken dumped on a plate....It was such a nice surprise to eat home cooked food and not food that had been left over from the night before. I highly recommend this place..I would not venture to the Malt House in Ironbridge which I used to think was good... Madeley is a nice little place and I will never make the mistake again of going to Ironbridge. Try this pub out...you will not be disappointed Carol

It's an ok pub. Beer isn't very good due to the lines not being cleaned properly but the cider is ok. Friendly atmosphere in the day but can sometime change on the evening and weekend

Visited for the first time on Tuesday 09 January 2018 to attend a meeting. found the place busy but friendly . A lot of choice of real ales - had a nice drink of New Brew Stout very good price of £3 a pint. The lower bar was full of cribbage players all seemed enjoying themselves. The car park is at the rear of the pub with the entrance off Legges Way turn not the High Street ( which is one way from the roundabout) but the turn marked to Blists Hill Museum. The car park is immediately on the right , signed Foresters Arms Car Park. There is enough space for about 30 cars. You walk past an outdoor drinking area in the rear of the pub.

Great Victorian pub, that has retained its features.. I understand that the landlords only took over this year and have done a fantastic job.. Good selection of well kept beers.. I had the a Ludlow Black Knight Stout, Porter 5 🌟.. Support your lical and uf visiting the nearby Blists Hill museum call in.. Wish I lived closer but always visit when over from Nottingham...

The barmaid was a lovely kind young lady who poured me a lovely coke on the rocks! I felt very welcome by the punters too who were kind and polite and very helpful. I would have definitely stayed for longer if I had the time. Great little pub with a friendly atmosphere. Clean and great selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from five stars from me! Thank you :)
