Went to the grazing cow on Sunday for lunch, I have to say it was absolutely beautiful! I haven't been here for years since my social anxiety doesn't let me out often, the atmosphere, service and food was amazing 😍❤️ thank you for making us feel welcome ❤️ edited - Tuesday lunch was also amazing! Staff super friendly, definitely going to be visiting more often! ❤️

Food is reasonable in choice and price, also available is a daily specials board. Can be busy early evenings and weekends. Visited 21/08/22 (Sunday) It's been a few years since my last visit to the Grazing Cow. It now has a dog area which was a bit of a surprise. There didn't appear to be as much variation on the menu ~ the first 2 items I requested weren't unavailable. The staff were friendly and didn't come ask if everything was ok as soon as you took your first mouthful. All in all the food was good, staff friendly & welcoming. I will visit again and would recommend to others 👍

I've got to say this place is lovely to eat for everyone family's, couples and friends... I have been as all of the above and every time I have bloody loved it, the food is yummy always very tasty and hot, the desserts are so tasty and very moreish.. my favourite is the caramelised biscuit cheesecake ohh it's to die for... also the staff are all fantastic very friendly always check if everything is ok with your meal and are very good recommended food if your not sure, I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone xx

Our server Jonathan was really friendly and accommodating and provided excellent service. He advised on some of the dishes from the staff taster session, which help make decisions on what to order and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent both mains and desserts were purchased and not one complaint from either of my teens, just empty plates. Jonathan is certainly a great asset to the Grazing Cow team.

Had a meal with family on evening of 19/11/21 to celebrate twin Grandchildren's 13th birthday. There were 8 adults and 5 children age range 2 to 13 and although we were split between 2 tables we all enjoyed our meals and staff are very attentive. As a wheelchair user I often struggle with low pub tables, on this occasion seated at a round table it was a perfect height for me to sit comfortably. The wheelchair access toilet is also well set out . These may seem of little importance to some but to me and my family they are reasons to return to the Grazing cow again.

Got there early on sunday just after 12, got busy quite quick . We had a lovely sunday lunch for two, three courses for me two for my wife, . With great big yorkshire puddings , We had beef and the pork and both where very tender, plenty of veg and roast spuds ,everything was hot and well cooked. Our waitress Regan came and checked if our food was ok and if we needed anything. Very happy with our visit.

Very friendly staff, good size pub with plenty of seating and separate bar area, good food with a decent selection on the menu. No air con but we visited in the heatwave which we needed, but otherwise it's worth a visit. Car park not the biggest either and when we visited it was very very busy, so not the best for a quite meet up. They also run a quiz on a Sunday evening at 7.30 if anyone is interested.

I have been here a couple of times now during the restrictions and every time I have loved it, eating indoors and outdoors, the service is still fab. Staff are lovely and they always bring some biscuits when we have the dog with us. The pub has dog-friendly rooms indoors and the outside is bigger than expected too. Having just moved to Lawley this will be our new local, and I'm glad it is 🐮

Sure. Chips tasted like they had a coating on, like a batter. Mains were all over £10 for average pub food and there were no sandwiches or lunch menu at all. I had a children's dinner. No fruit shoots and waitress just shrugged, although that's probably not your fault so a tad harsh, saying that, there are plenty at Tesco. Adventure playground is underwhelming to say the least. Hard to have an adventure on 4 square metres. Overall, basic pub grub for not so basic prices. Very quick service though, I will say that.

Well today was my first time visiting the pub and what can I say? It is well run, welcoming, tidy and a lovely atmosphere! I used to visit the Grazing cow for my birthdays before the dreaded Cov19. Visited it tonight for a birthday meal for my Fiancee and daughter. Was apprehensive, would the quality be as good?! Pleased to say amazing 10/10 everything cooked perfect even the fussy 9yr old ate all her food. Service was wonderful too friendly as ever and nothing was too much trouble, thank you very much.

The service was great, we hadn't booked and it was busy but we were seated straight away. Drinks arrived quickly and so did our food, however my husband's fish, although tasty, wasn't very big. My chicken and steak salad & my daughter's chicken salad were more than adequate and my son's lamb burger was enough. The puddings looked great, but I was too full to have one. The others had cheesecake, orange fondant & brownie sundae, all polished off!

My favourite place to eat. The food is always amazing. The staff are friendly and inviting. The drinks are always crisp and taste fresh every time whether you are ordering lager and ales. Per friendly and an amazing family orientated atmosphere. On those warm days there is somewhere to sit outside and enjoy the sun and a play area for the children. All in all a top pub with 5* service.

Lovely little pub! We only had a drink here as we had only just eaten. The lady behind the bar was very kind and friendly. I ordered a tea which was the proper tea leaves and came in a lovely little teapot! We chose some cosy armchairs to sit at which was really nice with old style decor which set the tone. I became very relaxed here that I didn't want to leave. I would definitely attend again when in the area.

Covid complient without being in your face. Warm friendly welcome from all the staff. Very quick efficient service even though there were only 2 free tables. Excellent atmosphere with beautifully presented perfectly cooked meals. A big hit with my OH too. Only downside was 1 of us had to drive home afterwards so we couldn't both enjoy the lovely bottle of wine we'd ordered. Luckily for me it was his turn to drive. Will definitely visit again as soon as we can.

Came in for a meal today, we hadn’t booked a table but the older guy we spoke to to seat us made felt like we shouldn’t be there or we were a burden. A few changes since we last came, no table service, no cutlery on the tables, no one bought cutlery over we had to fetch it our selves, we didn’t have any communication with any single member of staff after our food was bought over, no one came to make sure everything was ok, to remove the dirty plates or offer us a dessert menu. We did see other tables getting what I would call “the regulars priority” they were offered napkins, dessert menus and if everything was ok these were obviously regulars that probably tip big to get a good service. But having said that the food was good, the guy who served us behind the bar was lovely and chatty, pub was clean and tidy.

We visit here almost weekly as a group of ladies with our babies in pushchairs. The pub is very spacious so plenty of room for us. Very family friendly, with table service. Great lose leaf tea. Food has always been good here too. Management seem very open to new ideas and serving the local community with its toddler talk mornings once a month with free homemade cake! Delicious!

What fantastic staff! We booked a table for 11 of us for an early Christmas dinner and the food was lovely! Great sized portions, right temperature and Dave our server was excellent - give him a Christmas bonus he deserves it. Great attention, great personality and customer service outstanding. Came here yesterday for a family Christmas dinner and it was lovely. The staff were lovely and helpful, the drinks we're great and although there was a big que there wasn't a massive wait at the bar, our starters we're great, the Christmas dinner was really tast, the desserts were really nice and the pub itself was also really tidy and well kept. The only thing which let them down was them taking a while to bring my aunties dessert out while the rest of ours came and although we told them about it it still took us to tell them again and for them to finally bring it out but apart from that it was brilliant.

There were plenty of staff on duty and all were very friendly and attentive. Even though the place was busy they couldn't do enough for everyone. Food was generally good. A little disappointed with my steak, i asked for rare, but it was very over cooked on one side making it dry and chewy, hense 4☆s. But, Portion size was good. We left feeling stuffed. Glad we gave it another try. Will definitely be going back.

As I said in my previous review, we did come back, on 28May. Pub was once again really very busy. But, such prompt & attentive service, taken to table swiftly, drinks order taken. Initial impressions were indeed Spot-on! A good start. We both ordered the same meal, Duo Chicken & Beef. Wow! Absolutely Delicious in every way. Meal was unusual, quite unique, & it looked, & indeed tasted fabulous. See the pic.🍛😋 As before, such great & prompt service, wonderful & delicious well-presented food. Efficient, delightful service, and food just so lovely. Can't fault this place after two recent visits. Seems the Grazing Cow now offers consistency, lovely varied meals, and can cope well when at its busiest. Will definitely come back, and recommend to others. I hope the current standard on offer remains, as this pub offers restaurant quality meals at very fair pub prices. Thank you for a delightful and delicious meal. We have been coming to this pub for many years and we usually have a good meal here but today was a little disappointed, we found the ham was more like bits of gammon chopped up and the gammon that was ordered very salty, the jacket potatoes were a bit on the small size so we felt it was not value for the money we paid. The staff member who served us was friendly and polite. The pub it self was busy like it usually is as it's a very popular well talked about pub in the local area for it food and it's family friendly.

Good social distancing being enforced, one way in one way out, with track and trace, polite staff and with table service so sit down and order and pay at table...a few disabled parking bays with dropped kerbs not too far from the entrance but plenty of parking bays along the side and around the back of the pub.

The food was passable, with the veg very well done to the point of being bland and the meat processed rather than carvery style. If you're happy with that kind of thing then you won't be disappointed.

This is our local pub/restaurant within walking distance from home. Had lunch there again today. My husband had liver and bacon from the specials menu and I had the rotisserie chicken with salad and a jacket potato. Both very tasty. Treated myself to sticky toffee pudding with double cream for dessert. It was hot and absolutely deeelish!!!! Staff very friendly and service and food very good with generous portions. Recommended.

I have been to the grazing many times & the food & drink are fairly priced. However yesterday l visited the establishment after returning from holiday & although the staff were very polite & helpful they certainly didnt take a leaf out of the landlords book. I went to the bar on two seperate occasions where he completely ignored serving me & went beyond the bar to talk to other people although l appreciate hes the host at the public house surely you should serve your customer first instead of just leaving them standing there.

Me and hubby have dined here many many times food always very good, had a little dip in quality when in previous landlords hand but it most definitely has recovered, staff always very pleasant and provide good prompt service. This place use to be terrible.all the local residents avoided it. Since the new owners took over a few weeks ago, the place has come alive again. Great staff, food is excellent and everyone is made to feel welcome. Before you were made to feel like you were an inconvenience as soon as you walked through the door. Will be using on a regular basis now. The only down side to the pub is that the garden is in a very breezy place and quite exposed. Something is needed like Perspex or some kind of other wind breaker.

We went to The Grazing Cow when it first opened and loved it especially the Yucca Fries. Went back a few more times over the following months and had pretty average meals. However, decided to give it a last try tonight and had a cracking meal. We both had fabulous burgers (£6 each on a Monday including Bank Holidays). I had the chicken burger with gravy and my partner had the bacon and cheese XL burger. Had a portion of Halloumi Fries too, which were delicious. Attentive service. Will definitely go back.

U can easily tell now , that isn't the case as its frozen and microwave food . Apart from the chicken as u can see it cooking freshly in the spit ovens. Seemed off cut down on there portions aswell . Like previous things , used to be really nice and that , when first opened . But seems to be turning into a flame grill basic food pub .

A great family pub owned by Marstons. A pub very much aimed at families. They have a children play area outside an indoor one which has some free wooden games to play but have replaced some with machines you have to pay. They have Marstons brews on tap and plenty of other drinks for the non beer drinker. The menu is very extensive and there is a choice for everyone. The rotisserie chicken is one of there main dinners and you can watch the chickens cooking spinning around. They also do burgers and other pub favourites. Can get busy at the weekends but the staff are very good and you won't be left waiting.

All in all I left with a crippling addiction to peanut butter and would give this place 5 gold medals.

Clean tidy and warm, a pleasant ambience. The staff were attentive and polite.I had a vegetarian curry which was spicy but had no identifiable flavour. The poppadom was absolutely perfect, crisp and not greasy. The naan bread however had obviously been warmed up in the microwave and was very tough rather than soft and floppy. My daughter had a minted vegetarian burger which she said was rather dry and needed some sort of sauce. This was rectified by spreading some mayo on it. The chips were spot-on will cooked crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a staff member who was very friendly and polite. We were shown to our table and a minute later the same member of staff took out drinks order which was promptly delivered. After a few minutes of studying the menu we ordered our food which was a starter and a main course. Both the starter and main course were served piping hot and extremely delicious. Very impressed with both the staff and friendly service.

Warm & welcoming. I had a chicken option which was lovely. My wife opted for a rib-eye steak which wasn’t too good. It was very fatty, most of which was left on the plate. The waitress said she would speak to the chef, but we heard no more.

The atmosphere was lovely inside with the Xmas lights and candles on each table. Food and drinks orders were taken quickly and didn't have to wait long for our meals. The food was lovely and we weren't rushed to leave once we had finished our meals. Staff were really friendly and will definately be returning again.

The staff are great, but food on our last visit wasn't. Garlic bread was not just over done it was black on the underside, however, it was replaced when pointed out. Similarly the two children's burgers were pretty much inedible. They had been left far too long on the grill or had been reheated, they were solid. Needless to say neither child ate them, but the cost of those was removed from the bill without us asking, so can't fault them there. Never had problems with the food before, disappointing!

Be hungry! Restaurant portions are huge, I ordered fish & chips and I’m pretty sure that was a full cod, not just a fillet. Nice fireplace, beautiful olfactory signature, prompt but discreet service and lovely “mini desserts”. And free car parking. What’s not to like?

The gin cocktail was lovely even if the price of £8 wasn't! I think £6 would have been more reasonable. However I will definitely come here again for my free 🍸.

Upon entry first issue was for some reason only a table for 2 reserved when there was 3 of us. However, this was quickly resolved and we were taken to the table almost immediately. Gluten free menu needed for myself, again no issue, and servers were friendly. Food was hot and not too long a wait. I think for me as GF it would have been nice to have a Sunday Lunch option which wasn’t on the menu.
