It's hard to describe our feelings when we saw that one chicken wing clearly only got bones with a bit of coating. "Was it recycled from leftover?" "How did the kitchen miss to spot that? Obviously they've seen it otherwise it wouldn't be hidden under other wings." We did receive one replacement wing afterwards. Everything else was fine. Staff was friendly, food was tasty, especially the chicken wings. And No, (after an internal debate) we did not believe we were served recycled food but the question remains...

Nice place, plenty of large shiny televisions showing different things. Good choice of drinks and large food menu. Better deals during the week, bit more expensive on the weekend. Food was fresh and what was expected (pub grub). Staff members seemed friendly and helpful. Toilet areas were maintained and clean.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. I had the enchiladas, really enjoyed them. Decided to spend my afternoon in here and carry out my online uni lesson and have a few drinks. Staff were accommodating and we had a lovely afternoon. Can't wait to come back in the summer and sit in the gardens.

Food was served promptly and arrived hot, plentiful and was just delicious. Great atmosphere with a menu to match. Huge selection of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic with special offers on selected brands. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend 👍

This place has good parking and a few disabled parking spaces as well. It has plenty of outdoor seating and a small play area for younger kids. The pub is reasonably priced and often have some great offers on. The food is usually great but on occasion can be a bit poor. The service is okay. The staff range from friendly to only speaking if spoken to but still reasonably polite. It’s not a perfect pub with perfect service, it’s a place with great food and a great atmosphere, with a great outside eating area, which sometimes has brilliant service, sometime has average service but never enough to stop you returning.

A lot of tables with a "reserved", nobody showed up for them while I was in (about an hour). Got on a table with some empty glasses and used napkins/packet of juice left behind by the previous guests. Glasses got picked up, the rest of rubbish stayed all the time we were there. Food came quickly and was of good quality

Nice place but we always eat in the dog friendly area as we always take our dog with us . It would be a lot better for us if there were normal tables and chairs in the bar area instead of those high uncomfortable table's they are a real struggle to get on for the elderly

Not a bad place. A bit overcooked Rib Eye steak. But still a nice place for a weekend lunch or a beer in the shade of an umbrella or in the sun in the garden. Come with your friends and have a good time

A place with plenty of space and atmosphere but I was very disappointed in the meal, signature rib eye I would of thought to be one of their best dishes but the meat was very fatty and chewey, my wife enjoyed her chicken dish but our friend said his fish and chips were a let down with soft batter and a very small fish, for the money I think their are better options...on a good note very ♿️ friendly.

Situated in a very pleasant park so you can have a nice walk around and take in some well earnt refreshments afterwards. They have a good amount of indoor seating as well as plenty of outdoor seating on the decking area, so you can take a hot snack whilst you enjoy the scenery. They do very nice meals and can comfortably cater for larger parties (best to book). They also have an ample selection of beers and ciders.

First time visit and extremely happy with the service and quality of the food, the location is in such a peaceful area next to a beautiful lake very picturesque, see pictures, A meal for 3 with our 2 dogs who were also made welcome very welcome (most definitely animal lovers here) The food was so tasty, well cooked and fulfilled all of our requirements, One being vegan so very happy with the quality of the food, the presentation and the taste, Cooked to perfection she said, I had the Mexican flaming challenge and the burgers were so juicy not burnt as I've had elsewhere, well cooked and tasted beautiful so wished I'd taken a picture, the 3rd meal was also cooked perfect and no complaints at all, Very much value for money, The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite especially in times like these during the Pandemic, All professional we felt very safe, Would highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem, We most definitely will be returning, Thank you very much. 2nd Visit was even better Fantastic food yet again and such great value, I cant wait to visit again

Visit fairly regularly as we are local and over last six to twelve months have really enjoyed it. Experience with most recent visit was hopefully a blip although it was exactly the same experience I witnessed with another customer during my last visit. Booked a table in advance, all four of us stood waiting to be seated for five minutes, staff including bar staff saw us but didn't engage us - at which point we found a reserved table ourselves to be seated. I think standing with my mum in her 80s for five minutes is long enough. Proceeded to order, gave the table no and all seemed fine, friendly bar staff who set expectations of a 45 minute wait for the find. This is OK by me, they set expectations and did meet them. Note that this wait is actually now the normal at Priorslee, been the same during all of my recent visits.Tip: expect 45 mins to over an hour and therefore book slightly earlier as we now do. Issue started 35 minutes into our wait, enjoying our drinks. Chap comes over, possibly the manager who asked if we had booked - gave him the time and name of our booking. He returned and in a fairly confrontational manner and asked if we had sat ourselves as this table as this table is reserved for someone else. He then proceeded to ask us to move all of our drinks to a table across the pub - other customers equally looking bemused. Not exactly customer service of the year contender this chap. Very poor customer service and actually pointless - as it was when the same chap did exactly the same thing to a couple a few weeks earlier. It's pointless because if you employ a reservation system you need to staff it and manage it. You don't leave people standing for five minutes without engaging with them. If you are precious about who sits where, add the name to the reserved sign at the table - this doesn't happen at Priorslee, just says reserved. Tip: start adding names It is also pointless asking your customers mid-flight into their night to move when there are so many other tables unoccupied. Importantly and I witnessed this with the other couple last time, despite moving us NO-ONE actually turned up at our original table. We were there a few hours from the point of being moved and it remained unoccupied. Pointless. Need to sort reservations and customer service; you can't regularly ask your customers to move mid-way through, it's actually rude, it's not polite. I felt for the people he did it to previously and it was awful happening to us. He didn't even help move our drinks despite my Mum being in her 80s - just marched us across the pub as if we were naughty kids or a nuisance to him. I will visit again, will book and wait for five mins to be seated. If I'm ignored again I will take a reserved table but next time I won't be moving. I enjoy the pub, this new chap just needs to sort reservations and tweak approach to his customers.

It has been refurbished since my last visit to a high standard. Pleasant atmosphere and the staff delivered the food within a good time. A lot more seats outside which will be good for the summer. Pool table, darts and some children friendly machines to keep the kids busy. Plenty of parking outside. We went for the two meals for £9.99. I would recommend the hunters chicken skillet, cannot complain for the price.

Great meal as usual at priorslee. Had a great burger and fries. Nice enough environment to sit in feels a little more chain pub like rather than cosy but still nice all the same and not huge like many chain pubs. Meal arrived within 40mins.

I visited the Priorslee for the first time yesterday, 4th January "20 and it proved to be an excellent decision!! The Priorslee was well supported with not many empty seats or tables and I was not surprised, the food was first class and the range of dishes was excellent. The cost of the food which was a lot lot less than I have paid for meals at other establishments, the staff were super friendly and after first going to the bar to order the food and drinks, everything was brought to the table. An excellent lunchtime out.

Im editing this post as they have recently had a refit and new management team. Think it would be fair to reset the scores and start fresh as the current score shown does not reflect the aspirations of the new team. Pre-reopening drinks. Looking very good and just met the management team who will be running it who are definitely going to make this my new local especially with the new TV screens. Staff as always go out way to make your visit. Met the new head chef and look forward to trying out the food next time Leeds are on the telly. TV, Beer and Food (not necessarily in order of importance) what more could you want (Oh and they do have fantastic beer garden, other non beer drinks, non-tv area and play area for the kids as well for those with not the same priorities as me) Plenty of parking as well

Nice area, ideally located near to Telford, Shifnal & Wellington. Also the Lodge is a good place to go to watch the footy if so inclined. Varied food menu also at reasonable prices.There is also a lake and park near good for the kids to outside.

Came in with my partner the other day and had a wonderful 3 course meal. Starters were at the table in 5 minutes then cleared straight away. The steaks were cooked beautifully. The manager came over and had a chat in between running around and she was amazing and so positive about the pub. All of the staff were amazing and were so busy yet so polite.

Cheap and cheerful, the menu is absolutely insane with what seems like hundreds of options that makes it hard to choose a meal, it's the type of place you goto when you have no idea what type of food you want and the chances are they'll have it. There's nothing fancy going on here, it's cheap food of reasonable quality with polite service.

Lovely place for drinks but unfortunately the food missed the mark ( hunters chicken)bacon was burnt hardly any barbeque sauce. On my weekly walk, when I’m allowed to leave the basement, I stopped at priors lodge for a lasagne which was lovely to eat, as I recently had a dentist appointment which means I can no longer eat solid foods. Suzanne was lovely and gave me a bib to make sure I didn’t ruin my new straight jacket.

A hidden gem in picturesque surroundings. Food absolutely out of this world, Vegan included. Professional, friendly and warm welcoming staff. Can't fault this place, will definitely be returning and highly recommend everyone to give it a try. Went back today, 25th October 2020, yet again I wasn't disappointed the food and staff were totally amazing in fact I can truly say I had the best Vegan Sunday roast I've ever had.

We began our experience here a few months ago - popping in for lunch and the occasional dinner. Food is always fantastic and the staff go above and beyond the job description ensuring everyone who enters is looked after. What most stands out about this place is the customer service. Very down to earth and know what customers they can crack a joke with - putting smiles on our faces. In particular there is a man called Tony who has looked after me and my family during the Euros - booking us with the best seats in the house. Every now and again popping over to each table in the place to see if anyone needs anything else. During the Euros the restaurant/pub have been fund raising for charity that is close to every house-holds hearts - honestly can’t thank you all enough. If anyone is looking for a family friendly pub, a place to catch up with old pals or even to grab a quick drink before hitting the road again - this is the place- caters to all. Thankyou!!!

Having read some of the reviews, it really does show the inconsistent levels of staff and quality. We've been over for 3 days visiting long lost family and chose this place for facilities and being pet friendly. Our first night we ordered a variety of challenges and even though it wasn't packed, we still had a 40 minute wait for food with under cooked onion rings and cold fries. Staff were attentive but some need a little more help with customer service. My family brought a dog who makes no noise at all and not once on all three occasions were we asked if he needed or would like some water. The policy on asking if everything was OK with the meal and if not asked then a free desert is offered, is a good iniciative but to be asked 3 times during the meal is a little excessive. Thomas, Jane and Elise have the smile and the manners without being over the top and willing to help at all times, lovely staff. (Thanks for looking after us) Unfortunately, some of the managers seem unhappy with their roles of authority, no smiles or robotic forced customer service that really is unnecessary. It's lovely venue and good value, standards need stepping up a bit and some money spent on training the staff!! This said, we will be back and we will of course recommend.

Nicely decorated and spacious, and tucked away in a nice estate, we were greeted straight away by the staff and shown to a table. Menu was comprehensive, showing specials throughout the week etc. Ordering was simple too and in 20 minutes our food was on the table. All four of us had something different, and we all enjoyed our meals and the whole experience. I usually shy away from places that have TVs playing, but the volumes on these were turned down so you could actually have a conversation with your fellow diners and hear them. Would certainly eat here again

First time out since Lockdown. We went for lunch. Hand sanitizer on a sensor to use on arrival, one way in, shown to our table, drinks brought that we took off tray, staff kept distance and wore masks. Food was excellent, we had the sizzle platter of hunters chicken, chicken lovely and succulent, it came with peas and chips. When leaving we left a different way which staff pointed out. Staff very friendly. Tables spread out and it felt very safe to eat there. Recommend anyone to try it.

Too much hard work trying to sign up to king greene just to order as we where told that they don't accept any bank cards at present, cash was OK but we never carry cash. So we left after trying to order for 20 mins, no assistance even though it was emptyish.

Visited the Flaming Grill recently to see what it was like. The venue is nice and spacious, suitable for big groups and the staff are very friendly.
