Amazing pub! Graham the bar manager is phenomenal and makes every effort to ensure you are comfortable and well looked after. Excellent choice of beer and the staff are very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend ❤️

An excellent selection of UK craft beers makes the Boot a great addition to the local scene. Ever-changing range with a dedicated Salopian cask on offer, along with Lost & Grounded's Keller Pils lager and Deya's Steady Rolling Man pale ale on the keg lines. There is also a fridge chock-full of canned beers to try - either drink in or takeaway.

Excellent craft beer bar. Good beers on draft plus a fridge full of cans if you wish - for drinking in or taking away. Unlike the one star reviewer prices seem more than reasonable for the quality on offer. I'm not local but hope it thrives.

Excellent micro pub in main square, good quality real ale.

The place is truly a missing piece in Wellington. Offers a truly friendly atmosphere in a place sorely lacking such. And with an amazing bar manager (who is pictured) and staff to serve, I'd fully recommend to anyone wanting a truly friendly environment

Fantastic choice of Craft Beers and Ciders, love this place. Beers cover both Keg and Cask, wonderful !

We had a wonderful few hours at The Boot. Graham was a fabulous host. Great selection of keg and cask ales. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I visited The Boot Micropub for the first time on a preview night on the evening of Thursday 07 July 2022. The Boot has the same feeling as its 'sister' pub The Coracle in Ironbridge with an intimate bar area for about 30 people.
The bar is in a corner location of the pedestrianised market square ( opposite the Walnut) . It is planning to have outdoor seating on the pavement around the outside of the bar.
On entering The Boot the bar is on the far right handside with a unisex toilet on the rear left handside. It is offering 4 real ales plus a real cider with a great selection of unusual and ever changing beers on offer. It also has many keg lines plus a can fridge.
Parking is a short walk away - I parked in Belmont / Tan Bank which is usually very quiet on the evenings and another one the Swimming Pool car park is also quite close (all public car parks in Wellington are free although you have to get a free ticket from a machine for some . Limited disabled parking is available in a few on street parking bays on Church Street opposite the Wellington Orbit Community Cinema and Cafe about 25 metres from the Boot Micropub.
A wonderful and unique addition to the real ale scene highly recommended.
