A group of 27 of us attended last night for my lads16th Birthday meal it’s the first time I had been. The staff were all very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for them Deb is an absolute star. The food was brilliant taste wise only one small critique would be the portion sizes are a little on the small side for the hungry eater, Other than that I would and have recommended to friends. We will defiantly be back

With all the carry on with covid and other issues , we haven’t visited the DunCow for about 2 years. Wow it was good back then ,but our visit yesterday evening was an eye opener. The place is pristine with a very high quality make over . Also upgraded menu and the friendly and professional service made it a very pleasant experience. The food I had was up there with the best ,””in my opinion” The other three in my party all said how good it was . I recommend you give them a try if you haven’t already. We will definitely be going back . Thank you all .

Abit on the expensive side compared to other Indian restaurants. We ordered 2 lamb curries 2 rice and a mixed grill total came to £40 and no discount for collecting ourselves…. Portion sizes where ok. 7.95 for a small lamb curry. Flavour on the lamb was good the mixed grill I cannot vouch for as my husband didn’t like the meat.

Such a nice place , run by fantastic staff. The food was lovely . We struggled to get a taxi home at the end of the night so the manager got one sorted for us and gave us a free drink whilst we waited. Outstanding 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Fantastic food and plenty of it, with a lovely, live atmosphere. First time I've been since it's been refurbished and you can see from the number of people in there how well regarded it is in the local area. Try the masala chips!

There is a lady there, don't know the name... She's got short blond hair I think she's a manager... I just want too say thank you because she's the most caring and loving human being I meet. Her hospitality is outstanding and the way she's dealing with customers is absolutely amazing. I had such good night tonight thanks too her so thank you for your kindness and letting us in so we can watch football tonight xx

To sum this place up one word. Wow ! Not been here for maybe six years. It was a friendly if somewhat humble institution. Someone has given the place a good shake and brought it up to the current times. The transformation is unbelievable! A lot of work has gone into brightening up the place and it works. A useful combination of good drinks, good food and plenty of people to serve. Seems to have made the New Dun Cow, a roaring success. Well earned in my opinion.

Recently been transformed from an old fashioned pub. Which was pleasant but stuck in the past. It's been revamped with an exciting new interior. It works. Because it looks as if regular trade has tripled! A lot of investment has been made. It looks as if it's justified. Barely recognisable from what it used to be Phenomenal transformation. It seems to show by the amount of visitors in attendance. It's a nice place to visit.

A smart fit-out 12 months ago for a bar with larger curry house at rear but, despite Google reporting hours to 12, started closing up at 21:37. Arriving at 21:20, we walked in to 4 staff and seemed the only customers there. In fact there was one other, who soon left in search of company. Apparently the local scene is struggling.

This family run pub and restaurant has been delivering the highest quality food and drink for years. They recently had a complete renovation. Im glad to report that both food and drinks have also improved, which I didn't think was possible. They are serving higher end beers and spirits. Indian grill is always on point. The recent lockdown hasn't stopped me and my family ordering takeaway. I should also mention the amazing traditional Sunday roasts, once lockdown lifts I cant wait to sit in with my family for a roast.

Nice and chilled out atmosphere. Mainly Indians inside having a drink and food. The portions are big and the food is average. Although is a Indian grill it's more like a bbq flavor. There are several curry's to choose from too. I would go again but only for a quick cheap protien fix. Service was good.

Not been in this pub for years, it is an example of a "survivor" pub, still there despite other pubs in Trench closing for good . Has been rebranded a couple of times and is currently the Dun Cow Bar and Grill with the obligigatory grey paint on the outside to indicate it is trendy. Went there after a funeral, food laid on was very nice and Lady behind bar was very attentive. Will try to go again soon.
