Four of us visited for the first time. All of us were very impressed with the welcome and service we had. The food was served very nicely presented and was fresh and superb and very good value couldn't recommend enough and would definitely return again thank you for a lovely evening

Both roasts we ordered were generously sized and good value for money. I would have liked a Yorkshire pudding with my chicken roast however it wasn't to be. The potatoes were cooked to perfection as was the mash included. The fireplace was great especially on a day that had snowed so it gave off a very comforting and warm feel. Service was good as well

Foods always been lovely. Never had a complaint about it. Good protion sizes too. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Willing to amend/adjust food for u if needed. My pnly problem is the doorway isn't wheelchair friendly as it is very narrow and has a step to get in through both the front and side doors. (Its a very old building) But once in its all on a level. A lovely fruendly old pub.

Average visit. Nothing great, nothing bad. A bit bare and cold feeling inside, but Ludlow Gold pint was acceptable, if a little pricey. No food on evenings midweek at least, although do have reasonable rolls for a pound.
