Last night the food was absolutely excellent.
They had seating in the bar for 20 to eat. It was fully booked. The owner and a young lady kept everyone happy with drink and food. Quick and efficient.
All credit to them for maintaining a high standard. The chefs etc might be out of view, but they deserve high praise as well.

H.Would I describe this place as 'ok" or even 'adequate ' only if I was feeling somewhat mean or got out of bed the wrong side as they say.But according to Dave the owner this comment has been left.Anyhow, quirky interior, bar used as extention to restaurant in quieter times.I thought the menu was great,unpretentious pub grub with an emphasis on quality as well as quantity. Moroccan lamb tagine was great, maybe served in a tagine would have been a nice touch.Service also swift and polite and bookings seem to be spaced so as not to stress Chef ! Overall,I will go again and recommend to others.Judging by the fact that I could only get one a 6.30 booking tells you how popular this place is so Dave &Co you must be doing something right.Oh yeah the car park was adequate almost OK 👍

R.Went on a luncheon club coach trip to the stumble Inn every thing was superb lovely pub in countryside in Wales brilliant staff served a beef Yorkshire pud roast apple crumble and tea at the end of meal every thing came out piping hot the meal was so delicious we all went home with full tums so thank you all at the stumble Inn in one of the coach party from hattons travel for being so welcoming xxxx
J. P.Brilliant dinner in the restaurant with a huge choice on the menu. Really enjoyed cod wrapped in smoked salmon. I was served a nice pint of Doom Bar and the sevice was friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

For the shear quantity of roast potatoes that were made it was impressive how they all seemed to be crispy. They cater for gluten free really well too even making sure the two requiring this had their own mince pies.

The food is phenomenal especially the apple crumble, never in 40 years have I tasted a crumble like it. I will definitely return to this restaurant again. p. e.Great place for food and beverages always a friendly place. Landlord Dave is excellent and knows his stuff on beverages, his wife is a top class cook serving some great dishes. I have tried several and never had a disappointment.
