M.A great Spoons pub. Large spacious lounge, lot of interesting local history info. Well kept beer, pub in CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Usual Spoons food all at great value prices, what more could you ask for.

C. B.The prices have gone up recently but with all the fuel & food prices increasing in the shops I'm not surprised. Good value compared to other places, usual Wetherspoons menu.
My 6yr old grandson was very disappointed there wasn't any pizza on the menu (he's had it in another Wetherspoons in Telford). Another visit here today & we both had wraps with chips, very pleased with our food today.
Today's visit was just for a coffee with my husband. Great place to stop off for a break while shopping in Wellington. £1.25 for a hot drink with free refills - can't really go wrong
J. W.Who doesn't like a full english and 3 mugs of coffee for about 7 quid? The service is noticeably slower these days, I assume due to staffing shortages which are much publicised.
J. J.Can't fault the manager tonight on shift tonight, after a slight mixup on our food nothing was to much trouble for her! And food was on point ! Top customer service

D. R.Standard spoons pub.beer was nicely chilled and food arrived promptly. They have news channel on the TV with sub titles which I appreciate as what's the point of having a TV on if you cannot hear to read what they are talking about.
W. W.We discovered this pub months ago when in Wellington. Wellington is a nice town and we like the feel of it. The William Withering is a great pub, the food is always excellent and has a great ambiance. It feels like an old school pub and the staff are always helpful. It has become a regular treat when we are in town.
A. H.Great pub, friendly people. You do need to be fit to get to the toilet though. You'll understand if you've been there. Always clean and nice staff 👍😊
