Popped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon to see if they may do gluten free meals, wow had some fabulous fish and chips. Thank you very much, made my day 😃

I dropped in near the end of a days walking and was warmly welcomed by the landlady who kindly filed my water bottles and let me charge my phone for a quick half hour boost. I enjoyed a leisurely half of Proper Job an pleasant chat with some locals. I would be happy to recommend this pub.

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. I enjoyed the Halloumi burger

The staff are amazing, we found it impossible to get a reservation anywhere in Cornwall, so glad we found this gem. Currently seating is outside in the garden so you will have to brave the elements, but the team and the food definitely make up for it. The moules mariniere were so good and a really good size, the T bone steak was more than enough. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Lovely food and warm welcoming staff. The live music was a great finishing touch to our Fathers day meal.

Our first visit was for a Sunday Roast, we found it welcoming and the food ok. We rebooked for a Friday evening dinner visit and could not be more disappointed! First we found that indoors was closed and only serving outside in garden. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and they got the order wrong and the waitress implied that it was our fault for confusing her. Another long wait for the food of which 5 meals were good but the lasagne was pretty much inedible and burnt to a solid lump. When it was returned we were told that we couldn't have a refund as the owner was absent but a free drink was offered against the meal cost. Offer was declined!

It's a pretty basic local pub really. Pleasant staff... food was good value and very nice. Was meeting an old acquaintance mid distance and this place was right in the middle... it was the perfect place for a catch up a pint and a nice meal. Would use again.

Booked for an evening meal and really enjoyed it. The food was lovely and the bar staff were very friendly. We met the owners who were a lovely couple and they made us feel right at home.
