H. S.Best pub food in the area, would highly recommend it to anyone fancying some good homemade food. Very flavourful and lots of it! The price is a-little higher here compared to other local pubs in there area but definitely worth it!
The service was great, very polite, quick and happy! So it definitely worth taking a visit if you are passing by!
Plus they have a wide range of our favourite beers!
M. P.Had lunch at this village pub with family. Food was very good..Simple menu, but covers most peoples tatstes. The Lion Burger was very good, with a home made patty,, bacon, and cheese, with a Chilli Jam. Really couldn't fault it.
M. H.Tired and hungry from a long drive to Cornwall we called about 10 minutes before arriving here and luckily managed to get a table.
Small and cozy inside, the staff are extremely friendly (and dog friendly - including some free doggie treats!). The food was great, we had 2x pies and 1x pork tenderloin - all fantastic.
The puddings looked awesome too though we didn't have one, however we'll likely be back before we leave!
D. L.I visited this pub with the family of 4 on a friday (fish night). The initial welcome and service from all the site team were all brilliant. Most of us had fish and chips and we also had a fish pie. All tasted excellent and we loved the ambience in the pub. We will return when we next come to Cornwall 🙂

W. O.Fabulous meal and really good service and such a lovely place. Really enjoyed it. We had a huge Sunday roast, lamb and Beef and a vegetarian Beetroot and Squash Wellington. All delicious.

J. B.Having visited The Red Lion previously in March whilst on holiday and having GREAT food and service, my husband and I have returned and the quality of food and service remains the same. Lovely local pub,friendly staff and great choice of meals.
