Reviews of The Victory Inn

Came here for dinner on the first night of our long weekend away in May and absolutely loved it! The staff were very so friendly and the whole place had such a good atmosphere. We arrived around 5.15 and we're told that food wasn't served until 6 but we got lucky and the chef started early. The food was delicious, and we loved that we could choose a smaller portion size! We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again!

Lovely little dog friendly pub with choice of outdoor seating too. Good sized meals, very tasty. Friendly staff. Couldn’t ask much more.

Yummy roast dinner for meat eaters could do with more veggie options but the Carnivore was Happy!
Meat alternatives would be fun. There's a lot of vegans and veggies in Cornwall and some of the Chicken and Beef alternatives are really tasty. I know lack of choice is frustrating when going out for food on a restricted diet.

The food was perfect in every way. Lovely little remote pub, away from the noise and traffic 😌. Staff were talkative and friendly to us, they made our experience to this unique pub, perfect 🥰. Overall its a lovely remote pub to get away from the crowds at other pubs. Lots of COVID-19 precautions as well.☺

Been to this pub a few times whilst on holiday. The landlady is very welcoming and helpful. Her staff just as much. The menu isn't large but does offer a range of food for everyone. All is freshly cooked.
There's a garden with a large decked area.

Be aware, portions are large. Wife had sausage and mash, it would have fed two of us. Lovely gravy
Really friendly staff and very welcoming, made a big fuss of our dog

Nice and friendly pub old fashion. We had deep fried calamari. Nice. It worth a stop if you are in the area. Back garden to enjoy a beer.
