Good cocktails but £7.95 each and never seem to have them on any deals. You can spend alot of money, very fast.
O. R.Good selection of beers but when I ordered the barmaid told me to ‘shoo’ away from the bar, while we were waiting for another member of staff to pour our drink. (I think the owner suggests we were too close/being annoying in their reply, but this wasn’t the case at all - think they were just trying to make space for other people to come up to the bar, just thought it was a pretty rude way to do it as we’d been pretty polite and would have happily made space anyway)
M. B.Vertigo is great for so many reasons for Truro! It does amazing food in the day time! The new menu is amazing! The staff are all great and really friendly and welcoming. The drinks are top quality and so are the cocktails. The espresso martinis are particularly special. Highly recommend to anyone!
S. G.Awesome!! I’m not really one to write reviews but the staff and venue is fab! Fantastic food and drink with a massive range to chose from (not a cocktail man but they looked really good) We sat in the heated beer garden and felt like VIPs! We were served by James and Abi- both of which went the extra mile with our group. There were some lads working the outside bar too and they were amazing with us as well! (Sorry didn’t catch your names) If you’re looking for fab drinks, great music and a bite to eat, with INCREDIBLE customer service, I would only recommend coming here! You won’t regret it. Thanks for having us guys, we will be back!

B. R.Late on a Saturday night we popped in after other bar had closed, we were the oldest people in there! (We're in our 40's!)
The music was good, the space of the building is a bit of a maze and could probably be put to better use. The inside areas were bright and nicely decorated but definitely in need of some TCL due to wear and tear through popular use ( it's very busy with younger peeps )
The beer garden is a fantastic space with its own outside bar, loads of seating and great views. It's a little gem of a wine bar and maintaining it , busy as it is, must be like painting the Golden Gate Bridge! However this in no way detracts from its appeal, it's a fab place!

s. r.My girlfriend introduced me to this lovely bar in Truro today. The staff were really friendly and the cocktails are excellent - and reasonably priced too. Only criticism is staff could have been more attentive and asked if we needed more drinks, especially as a) the place was basically empty and b) in these Covid times, in most other places staff are trying to limit the time customers are spending walking around. Overall very good though and we will definitely be coming back.

C. D.Vertigo, ahhhh, where to begin. It all started on a warm midsummers eve when my thirst began to quench and tummy begun to rumble. I, a proud scot, thought of somewhere near me that could relinquish this but sadly nowhere would suffice. Hence I took a short trip down to Truro, Cornwall. What an exciting town - sometimes known as the Manhattan of the South west - it bodes fine establishments and terrific scenery, not to mention steeped in history and culture. Deciding among all these delectable haberdashery’s i stumbled upon Vertigo. A truly cheeky lickle boozer that wowed me from the moment I entered it’s castle. Beers, Burgers and most importantly bloody brilliant atmosphere - Vertigo ticked all the boxes with there quality food n drink and professional and friendly service from staff (in particular one Megan Beynon). Vertigo you did yourself proud and I don’t know if you know it yet but you just set up a brand new bar somewhere very close to me … my heart xx. Lots of love Cdoggy

It's a great place to spend it. Split over three floors. Two sets of loos. Close to food outlets and centre of Truro. River at the back of the garden and outside has many coverings, heatlamps, tables, ashtrays etc.
