Reviews of Belle Monte Hotel

Great old fashioned pub. Open fire on in winter . Great views over Cheshire. Very close to the sandstone trail. Beers are very well priced as is usual with Samuel Smiths.

I am currently walking from the boat lift every Friday just to keep me active. Surprised how many lovely walks there are. The boat lift is not open every day so if you really want to do it, I would suggest you check first. But great little place to visit if you like canals. Parking is £2 for 3 hours.

Pub decor is very tired. Not many photos taken as the pub has a policy of no phones & there's no WiFi. Samuel Smith beers stocked were good and very good value for money.

What a lovely little find. The beer garden is tucked out back and plenty of space for our girl to roam. What a great space for summer drinks.
Beer and ale were spot on. Can see this becoming one of go to locals

Great place for a pint. no phones, no laptops, no ipads, no swearing. real fires. Samuel Smiths ale. Friendly barman when we were in. All good stuff

Traditional Sam Smith pub with great landlord and fabulous views. Some lovely walks around and not a better place to pop into for a post-walk drink@

Good beer at great prices. Try the 4% double four lager for £2.08, taddy lager at 4.5% for £2.30 in summer, winter drinks are bitter at under £2 and they give away the fantastic mild for £1.38 😁

Local real ale pub, nice friendly atmosphere, great pint of stout at a very reasonable price.

Old school pub, no branded spirits and cash only, dogs welcome
