S. O.Popped in for an evening meal with my little two tonight. I was a little disappointed at first glance for the lack of variety in the vegetarian section but opted for a beetroot burger of some form.. I was not disappointed! Amazing food! Fantastic value for money and friendly staff but not in your face! Even my elderly mum couldn’t find anything to complain about! 🤭 Will definitely be back!

Food is awesome, hanging kebabs especially, staff brilliant and very switched on. But the beer, I'm a confirmed Stella bloke and was disappointed to see only Joseph Holt beer mostly. I was recommended the diamond lager and god it was lovely and a good 5%. Its a pity the hotel is not a renovated one, but I'm booking again purely for the pub.
A. C.First time I've been for a while (since its been took over) must say, slightly disappointed. The food was no where near as good as it used to be. My fish & chips were very bland, my wife's food, she described as "boring". And my sons pizza looked microwaved, it was that pale. Only home brand ales on the pumps... Shame used to be one of my favourite place to eat (under the last restaurant chain) but won't be rushing back there anytime soon.
P. K.Lovely night so sat outside. The menu is basic Pub Grub, but very well cooked and generous portions. Staff very friendly and good service. Will definitely return.
