Lovely place, family friendly. Meals are served hot and the portions are more than enough! Staff are always pleasant and very accommodating. The gin bar is excellent! The entertainment is great too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to go for a drink or a meal!!

Local little pub with very friendly bar staff who will go out of their way to help you. Decor is looking very nice now especially with the new seating however the small raised seating area near the windows isnt practical for those who may easily forget there is s step up/down after a few but other than that everything else is great even the outside seating areas. Not had anything to eat in here for a very long time so cannot comment on that however friends have said it is very good. Downside i would say is perhaps it no longer has a summer 'happy hour' from 5pm til 7pm midweek as it once had so perhaps that could be something to look at introducing back for summer.. 👍🍺😊x

Had a great night as always. Good people, good beer and good music. Atmosphere was brilliant for both bands who played (Slow Commuters and The Camdens) and the DJ even snuck in a little karaoke towards the end of the night. Looking forward to going back.

Real ale and good home made food at sensible prices. Great to find Theakstons Old Peculiar on as a regular ale, condition was excellent! Staff very friendly - well worth a visit.

My friend and I had lunch in the Crown & Cushion today after a friend recommended the food. The pub has been partially refurbished with further alterations to be done in the near future, so still needs a bit of a face lift. However, although we chose a simple lunchtime meal the food is very good, reasonably priced and well presented. The Chef (Linda) was happy to accommodate my friends special dietary requirements. Its early days for this local pub but is has potential of being very good indeed so I will definitely be returning and recommending.

Since the revamp this place is much nicer, The steak and ale pie is awesome and the portions are good. A tad pricey but I'd rather have nice homestyle cooked food than 2-4-1 rubbish that's served in most placed.

The Christmas table was lovely, but the trio of desserts was frozen solid , we were told that's how they should be!!!! mince pies were a disappointment shop bought. Not been in since they stopped the 2 for £7 at lunch, very quiet they need to go back how it was before.

14 pre booked mothers day lunch.Choice of 2 or 3 courses with a glass of fizz for the mums. Food was hot tasty and served seamlessly. All homemade fresh cooked . Waiting on staff pleasent and attentive . Pre booking and in this case pre ordering definitely enhances the experience here . Thankyou to all the staff and chefs...nice choices of gin at the gin bar good value too!!

Great pub, shy sports, nice pleasant drinking atmosphere..... Which really livens up, when the football is on or any other large sporting events. Staff are cracking folk & service is boss 👍🙂

Nice and cheapest place to call in for tea. Had 2 burger meals which were very nice. Served with salad and Chucky chips. Nice little beer garden. But needs better signs as to were smoking is allowed. As people next to us. All smoking like chimneys. Spoilt it. So whent to sporties down the road.

This was the first time we have been with our dog, we were made very welcome, the starter was ribs, they were absolutely lovely the bq sauce was very nice, my wife had fish & chips she loved it, I had beef strips on a sizzler with chips, this again was a lovely meal, we will be going back again, we would highly recommend the Crown & Cushion for a visit to go for a meal, Brilliant.
