Four of us, each ordered a different meal. We had to wait for the meals, but we were not disappointed. 4 clean plates, so nice and good portions. Staff friendly, plenty parking. So, yes, we enjoyed it.

First time visit and was on curry night which is a bargin. But we opted for something off the 2 for £14 menu. I had lasagne and the wife had chicken in blue stilton cheese sauce. We had no complaints about the portion size and her meal was very Good, my lasagne was hot and tasted good aswell. Only complaint was the kids menu 2 good size sausages but really small amount of peas and mash. Over all we defo go again. The staff were pleasant and service was quick. Worth a visit to try for yourselves.

Food was lovely, compliments to the chefs. I think the waiters were very new because we didn't get any cutlery before our meal arrived, we had to get our own. Luckily we were sat right next to the waiters station. I will go again, just hope the service has improved.

We visited today with 2 children, literally the staff and chef /manager could not do enough for us and accommodated our food and drink requests. Extra gravy was bought quickly, and the tables, toilets and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. The food was absolutely spot on... Seriously, we had a belting Sunday roast for not bad money. Thanks Tabather for making our dining experience really great, we will definitely be be returning. What a refreshing change for a chain pub to have everything spot on and above all common sense. Now I know dogs are allowed well make a B line for this place now.

Being local to us we decided to give The Millhouse a go for a family meal, wow they did not disappoint, food was amazing, service was exceptional and the staff made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very polite and bubbly, overall a fantastic first visit and we will definitely be back!!

Booked a table for our 12th wedding anniversary told they weren't taking online bookings got a table 15 min wait for starters the long wait for mains had to ask for the pepper sauce for my steak not much choice for dessert. Wouldn't come again for a special meal as I have been in and out of hospital so our anniversary meal was special for us and was totally spoilt with the service we received

This place has just had a fantastic make over and extension, it’s really nicely furnished and decorated inside and has a terrific garden area. The staff where very friendly and welcoming. We all enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be going back to this pub. 10 out of 10 Well done

Reopened recently after a refurb and lock-down. Now a food pub, more than a pub. Sat outside as the weather was hit, for a change. Seating around tables consisted of cube stools. Uncomfortable for anything over 5 mins, so I wouldn't like to eat using one. Music far too loud, why do they assume everyone wants to be deafened by loud music? To be fair, there dies appear to be a quiet area to the rear. Staff working hard to stay on top of service, minor hiccup with one round, forgiveable, especially given current circumstances, but a bit too long to get served. Declaring my preference, it's for a pub, not a restaurant that serves beer. Standard Holt's offerings on the drinks side. You may like it .

Called in for lunch with a friend . I have been before so know it’s a lovely pub and has great spacious outside area !! The pub is set up for social distance dining and all health and safety seemed to be followed 👍 I had two starters as a main meal . Halloumi fries which were lovely and also chicken skewers which were a good portion !! It was all lovely, the only small thing I would say is that the chicken skewers tasted a bit salty and rather than just a bit of rocket on the side maybe a tiny side salad ( rocket, lettuce, onion, tomato ) Just a suggestion but still really enjoyed my meal and the service was very good and everyone was friendly and pleasant who served us 😃

Quite pricey though food is good. We returned for a second visit with a 20% off voucher. Were told that discount only applies to main courses despite pictures of starters mains and deserts on the voucher. Disappointing will put us off returning. There are plenty of good eating places around.

Luv what they have done to the pub but they are punching a over Thier pay grade! The little extras are way too expensive £2 for a slice of hard bread and butter that then rips the bread 😠 I also popped back in another day and got 3 small lemonades and I should have gone to wa4 and it would of been cheaper
