Good pub with an excellent Indian curry house attached. The food was superb and plentiful. Superb value for money, and the staff were great. What a find.

Brilliant atmosphere. Friendly punters and staff. Reasonably priced drinks. Not too crowded but still lively. Has an Indian restaurant attached (!) Which serves really great food to eat in or take away.

I was here today for my friend's baby shower. Haven't been for a while, the pub has been totally refurbished and is really welcoming. The staff are super friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend.

Very friendly place to go. Great bunch of people. Good selection of beers wines and spirits. I'll definitely visit it again soon. (November) Since my last review, the Poacher has seen a transformation, it is now incorporating a fine Indian restaurant, which also has a takeaway facility. Just when you think it can't get better.!

Had great Indian meal here. This pub makes the most of it's large bar area showing the football and offering sensible prices then have a Fab Indian meal sit in or takeaway. Ample parking great place two mins off motorway.

Nice local pub. Food is standard pub food, but what they do is presented well and tastes good. It's not an ale/CAMRA pub, but you should find something you like. Nicely decorated and furniture following the recent refurbushment.

Went here for the first time in over a year. The new landlady and landlord were really friendly. There was an excellent cask ale available and the pub seemed busy with a good atmosphere. We'll be going again! 😊

Good wheelchair access and disabled toilet. Food basic pub grub but hot and presented ok. Service a little slow but an apology was given and we weren't in any rush.

It's good but could be cleaned more often. Small kid's area could be larger as 3 years old may get bored quite easily and want to go to the large part which isn't suitable for smaller ones.

This is part of birchwood spice and although it's an very nice I probably wouldn't go there unless eating as it is a bit out of my way but still worth a visit if you are local very nice ale

Forget what you know about the poacher. The bar is split into traditional pub and Indian restaurant and OMG the chef is amazing. I challenge you to not like the food.
