Food is amazing. Staff accommodated a table of 12 for us and everything was really nice. Ideally would have liked table service for drinks however it was Friday night and the staff were run off their feet so this is in no way an actual criticism because the food and service was incredible. Definitely going back. Really lively atmosphere and a popular spot in a great location.

Been there a couple of times and to be fair what I always get is the burgers. They are very nice I can recommend. Overall The White Hart is a pleasant place although it can get quite loud in the evenings so not ideal for a quiet meal. They offer a good menu and a selection of drinks. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Afternoon Tea, two small green baps, far too many cakes. Disappointed ☹️ as had afternoon tea at the White Hart two years ago, when it was a proper afternoon tea, good choice of sandwiches, scone/cream, pot of tea, not just a cup of tea. £17.95 won’t be revisiting, shame. I have contacted the team by email over a week ago, no response.

Newly opened after refurbishment. The decor was very good and people liked it. Upstairs looked great and there was live music. Good selection of beers. Definitely worth a visit.

Great Place! Warm and friendly atmosphere with lovely staff who go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your meal/drinks. The food was AMAZING!! Went here for my daughters surprise Hen Party. They allowed us in to decorate , and were so helpful. The afternoon tea was gorgeous..tasty and very well presented. The service was excellent. Generally the pub is lovely and the staff can't do enough for you, which really I should off complained! My food was really nice until I got to the middle of the burger then it was raw and my daughters chicken burger batter was overcooked, I then received the wrong dessert!

Great food, reasonably priced. A good selection of food and drinks. Only reason got not giving 5 stars was that the outdoor area was freezing, the outside heaters just aren't powerful enough. Take a blanket for your legs though and you'll be fine. Service is excellent.

Had a lovely lunchtime meal and cocktail with work friends. We only had an hour and all food was served and finished within the hour. Portions were big and at a very good price. I will definitely return again. Perfect for a quick stop to eat/drink. Staff were all friendly and approachable throughout.

Went here for a Christmas meal with a large group. It was very busy & we had to wait to be seated but the service was quick & efficient when we got our meals. Our tables were very squashed. It was virtually impossible to move about. The food was plentiful and tasty. I would probably think twice about booking for a larger group but the food was good.

Firstly I must say the food is 5 star quality. Starters and main were delicious not one bad thing I can say about the food. The service however was terrible we had to wait at least 20 minutes for a member of staff to come and take our order at the table. We had our starters then had to wait what felt like a lifetime for our mains to come which came before the plates for our starters were taken away and then only the some of the starter plates were removedand while waiting for the mains the staff could clearly see we were done with our starters especially the 3 members of staff huddled around the gambling machine. Then when had finished our mains we had to wait yet again a long while for our plates to be removed yet diners who were served and finished after us had there's swiftly taken. I will go again as the food was fantastic and I just hope the staff were having an off day as far as service goes.

I went to the white hart this past week even with everything going on.. I'm thrilled to say they couldn't bend over backwards and took the whole covid situation extremely serious. The staff couldn't have done enough..I find it incredibly sad its not as busy as usual.. times like this.. great pubs like this are going to feel it...I will continue to come here and eat great food. Just had an excellent meal, staff were friendly and attentive. When i booked the table I was informed they could blend food for my husband as he has problems swallowing solid food. When we arrived we were seated and I asked what he could have that they can blend unfortunately they couldn't do it as they don't have a blender and we had been miss informed. The manager went above and beyond to get him something to eat, he ended up with 2 types of soup which were lovely. All the staff were great and the manager couldn't apologise enough for the mix up. I can highly recommend the white Hart and we will definately go back. Thank you 😊

Booked the room on the first floor for my birthday party - it was perfect for what we were looking for - nice and central and easy to find for those that were coming from out of the area. Close to hotels for people staying over. It was the prefect size for the amount of guest I had - plenty of room and the fact that is has it's own staffed bar was perfect! The room is clean and well decorated and looked lovely on the night - particularly as I had a black/white/bling theme!. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble - would definitely recommend the venue for location, facilities and value for money.

The food was very good and the staff were all friendly and helpful. However, the selection of beers was very limited and at the time of my visit on Wednesday 16th October at lunchtime the only Theakston beer was unavailable - this was a disappointment. However, I understand from a conversation at the bar yesterday that the management of White Hart are actively looking to install an additional beer pump which should extend the range of beers to include an IPA.

This is a great place - the atmosphere is buzzing with lots of different age groups coming in for different reasons from a drink or afternoon tea to snacks and full on meals. The downside is that sometimes you have to wait to find a seat. But absolutely worth the wait!

Had my daughters baby shower there last night (April30th2016). We really could not fault anything , from booking this in Feb right through the staff have been very helpful . The food was really good 25 meals all came out together , the food was hot and everyone enjoyed a wide and varied menu . We ve been very well looked after . I would recommend the White Hart and the room upstairs to anyone and would definately visit Andy and his staff again .

I visited the white hart today and was so happy to find they had updated the menu to label which meals were infact gluten free as I have an intolerance. So I ordered my meal quite happily and when it was served saw bread at the side which wasnt in the menu. I thought Id double check that it was gluten free as it didnt look as though it was. The waitress came back from checking with the chef to find that it wasn't. And not only that it wasn't but the chef said I should have ordered gluten free bread. So ordering a gluten free meal which didnt specify there would be bread at all I was meant to order other than what I was given. Given the severity of celiac desease some people can be hospitalised and can in extreme curcumstances die from contamination. Id strongly recomed either avoiding or double checking everything as you order. Otherwise great food and service. Today their chef let them down and hopefuly noone has been given something they shouldnt have.

Did a mid stop from Bampton, Devonshire to Edinburgh on Saturday 4th July at Warrington Travelodge. Asked reception where to eat locally, and you were advised. Five minutes walk and we were at The White Hart, a good old fashioned Pub. Very interesting Menu, from which meals were chosen, together with a very nice bottle of White wine. Excellent friendly service Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Wanted to report on Trip Advisor, but T.M.I. required!! (Too Much Information)
