Reviews of The Crown Horsell
t. t.Popped back to this (my old local) again in July 2023 and had several pints of their excellent Thurstons Stout. Also picked-up 2 barrels (Horsell Gold and Thurstons Porter) for our own local pub's beer festival. Those two beers were very well received and went quickly. This pub is a wonderful traditional wet sales establishment that focus on quality beer from their own brewery next door. You won't find food, wall-to-wall sports screens, loud music, or gambling machines. You will find interesting and sociable locals to talk to as well as the fabulous owners (Antoinette and John). It's 'cozy' but a great place to come to relax and have a beverage.
They also have live music on a reg-ular basis!

Our large group were made to feel very welcome even though we decended upon the pub at very short notice after being let down by another local pub in the same village. Friendly helpful staff who looked after our group well. Pub wasn't serving food on the weekday evening when we visited. Great local Ales from the micro-brewery in the village and others from around Surrey.

J. H.Great pub with its own associated brewery. The ales are lovely and the ambiance is that of a real pub. No food just traditional pub snacks and a warm welcome. Only downside was the acoustics which leave you having to shout above the hubbub. A rare treat in this gastropub age.
