Typical Wetherspoons, decently decorated, decent food and drink. Whenever I'm in a place I don't know, I head for a whetherspoons as they all keep to a standard. Best feature of this one is the statue of to invisible man.

Great manager and assistant manager who always go above and beyond. Can be a little rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights (what town centre pub doesn't?) but it's always handled professionally and courteously where possible. Good team!

I came here a few times when working away in Woking. They had the eat out to help out deal on at the time the 3 plates for £10 is good. Recommend getting that if your not sure what you want to eat. I also recommend the breakfast as well

Average spoons, really isn't anything like its neighbour in Guildford or Bracknell, as this one is just one floor, slower service, louder and looks in need of a deep clean and refurbishment. Cant really comment on the prices as they were good before Liz Truss killed off the pound. Im just hoping their prices go back down because even though its still cheap the deals barely work anymore... 3 for £12 more like 3 for the price of 3, makes no sense to me and ruined the vibe of many a nights out that i barely even go anymore.

A lively Wetherspoons pub that always seems to have a crowd in it at weekends. The place is quite nicely done out, though in places the decor is a bit dated and has seen better days. The drinks are reasonably cheap and there is quite a wide selection to be had, plus most of the time the staff are quite efficient and friendly. The toilets are kept reasonably clean. All in all a nice pub :-)

I have been here for breakfast and lunch in the last few weeks. This is a large Wetherspoons pub. Good value for money. Breakfast and coffee (free refills) for less than £5. On steak day rump steak with glass of wine was £8. Good value. Fast service when I was there. Friendly staff. Plenty of space to sit Down. Beer is about £2.50-3.50 a pint.

We all love a Spoons, cheap cheerful and you get what you pay for that's for sure. Staff are great. Security always around making it a nice place to relax and potentially watch someone who can't handle tbeir drink get escorted out. Most importantly, the food is filling and drinks are liquid. What more do you need? Oh,actually a few more seats would be appreciated as its often so busy you end up having to stand unless you have been there since 10am.

There are some bar games in the center of the pub, quite crowded as it is a big venue but it feels smaller if you sit on one of the booths on the side. Also noticed there is a bookshelf with some interesting books.

We came here to eat as we were staying at the Doubletree hotel and their restaurant didn't open until 6. We were a group of 3 adults and 3 children, the youngest of which had allergies. Staff were exceptional and catered for our needs extremely well, even serving the 2 year old's food first as he was tired after a 4 hour drive (not him driving !) Food was excellent and extremely good value for money. Cannot recommend the place and staff enough !! Thank you !!!

Wetherspoons pub with decent seated area. A dining area is somewhat separated from the drinking area for those wanting a quiet meal. Good prices on food and drink as ever. If you want a no nonsense breakfast it's a bargain. I also find it funny that punk ipa is cheaper here than in brew dog pubs.

If you're looking for a pleasant Wetherspoons experience then this one is worth a visit! It is a nice pub with plenty of space for groups, plus good service. There isn't much outdoor seating, just a few tables out front along the street, but it's nice there's some available at all given the location. Tge interior is pleasant anyway. Food & drink options our same as usual standard for most Wetherspoons.

Can't beat a Wethies for value & this one has the added bonus of being full of HG Wells inspired artwork. Loads of seating. We tend to go on Sunday eve which has a nice atmosphere & food is served very quickly and generally with a smile.

This is a pub chain and have visited a few locally, I find this main issues is similar with seating is very poorly arranged so almost impossible to find a seat during busy times, you will find 1 person sitting in at a 4 seated table and not eating which is insane business sense, the prices are average and food average, burgers dry and don’t taste freshly made, the beer is great but found on most visits the choice is always restricted by running out of beer so bad inventory order in all its just average place to eat or drink and parking restrictions

Best thing in Woking, the Mantua of Surrey -not. If you have to change trains at Woking and have a wait, think about exiting the north side (NOT the south side -Mordor with an M&S), head off at 2 o'clock past the spooky oversized-dosser sculpture ,and find this place. Excellent beers, standard Wetherspoons food better cooked than elsewhere in the chain, and a surprising relative dearth of the orcs which infest other Wetherspoons in similar rat-hole towns (OK, rat-hole town in Surrey, might account for it but then look at the Wetherspoons in Redhill -EEEW).

Great curry meal despite the vegetable sumosa was cold, no disrespect shown for this as it got reported to the cook, I still stand by my 5 star rating, as the staff are very friendly, and helpful if there was a problem, being a an assistant manager they do not come out to check if everything was ok with the meal, they have come out to check to find out if everything was ok with the meal in the past. Other than that I can not pass judgement or say something bad about the pub, as there is not many staff on to cope with any problems, but as I have said prior in this review, it's a ex assistant manager ( not related to the pub) just picking up on things that should happen, but the last time I spoke to the manager he did say they did not have the time to check, which I can understand, because it is a busy pub, I hope the guys at the pub keep up the good work they do and keep the pub number 1 in the listing for the area.
