Great experience here and staff were very accommodating. Did not want beer battered fish but staff made separate one without it and also very good baby chairs. Food was lovely and its a nice cosy place. Will visit again

Been to many events at this pub, proud to call it my local always events on for kids and adults the staff are friendly and always working hard to ensure everyone is ok, they have a activities on most weekends from bingo, quizzies, karaoke, live entertainment for kids and adults for a small pub it does so much, great place to go, no where better in Worcester highly recommend

Great community focused pub. Clean and inviting inside and out. Well run, and very friendly staff. Food is great quality and value for money. Lots of entertainment to enjoy throughout the week from quizzes to karaoke and live singers. Free children’s events regularly also, really caters for people of all ages. Function room is lovely and a perfect venue to host private parties, meetings or any other event. Well worth a visit.

Lovely pub with a variety of different indoor and outdoor areas. Sport is on TV in some areas but does not dominate the ambiance. Food is highly rated and good choice of ales. Really pleased I live near this place!

Been thinking about booking here for a while so did for 4 of us. Waited 15mins for our drinks to arrive. Husband requested cider...none on tap only dark fruit. Had a pale ale instead....1st one was fine but 2nd one was not. Ordered 2 steak meals, one mixed grill & a salad. The wait for food was 45mins. First time ever my husband left food on his plate and I also did & so did the other person who had steak. It was burnt, tough & not very nice. Tomatoes were burnt too. Mixed grill gammon was also burnt but they'd turned it over...also egg was burnt which gave husband indigestion. Bill came to over £100 Inc drinks but it was pretty poor service & food for that.

Today we visited the Alma Tavern for the family event a visit from the Disney Princess. What a lovely afternoon John and Will put on. It was a totally Free event! The lovely Disney Princess had 3 beautiful costume changes, and plenty of opportunity for lots of lovely photos. A kids disco, and even a bit of limbo dancing! All done with such affection from the disney Princess. It really was an enjoyable afternoon run by the Alma Tavern. A big thank you John and Will.

Sunday lunch delivered today. Beef, lamb, pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese all for a good price. Delivered hot, socially distanced safely and bang on time. Very tasty. Definitely recommended and will order again. Jolly good value for money!

Having recently rediscovered the Alma as a friendly family pub, with great beer, top grub, sports and great traditional events (e.g. quiz, bingo), it's great to see the return of the 'public house'. What local pubs should be like...like they used to be :-)

I contacted the Alma Tavern to see if they could arrange for Alma Bear to deliver a bottle of processco for a work colleague that was moving on to pastures new. Normally we would have gone there for a meal. I explained that because we were a busy dental practice we had a short time frame for this delivery to take place. Well I am impressed they arrived spot on time, Alma Bear was a big hit and made my colleagues day special. Oh and the rest of the team loved it too. Thank you so much. We went to the Alma Tavern last night and had the fisherman's pie. It was really really nice. We eat there as often as we can as lovely atmosphere, lovely food. The seating arrangements are good too, plenty of space. We recommended the fisherman's pie to my daughter who arrived later and she was suitably impressed.

Ordered roast dinners for delivery today. 1 beef, 1 lamb shanks and a childs chicken roast, we had extra honey parsnips and pigs in blankets. They were delivered bang on time and were still hot. They tasted epic. Will definitely be ordering from here again and can't wait to visit when restrictions are lifted to try more yummy food.

I was really surprised by the alma I've always looked in as passing but never ventured any further till lately. From the outside it looks a small dinky cramped pub but to my surprise it's a cosy pub with seats by the a fire and what I imagine is larger are for dining but we had it buffet style. The staff are amazing an was really welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. The chef I found was really friendly and clean as I come from catering background i found that quite satisfying and will be turning in the future to test out there carvery

ANYONE wanting doorstep entertainment I would highly recommend the alma. OMG the smiles and laughter these guys brought to my parents were amazing.
