Lovely looking traditional pub, great staff member with the beard however it’s management is letting it down! No ales at all, the glass washer clearly needs a service as the glasses are not cleaned properly! One staff on, on a Saturday, one beer went and the barman went to change it, was a while however a member of the management was in and he blatantly ignored the build up at the bar and went upstairs! Such a shame as this place could be a goldmine how great it looks

We went on a Saturday 23rd April around 2.30 for a lunch. Table of 4. We all had starters. All the starters were great and the soft crab was raved about. We shared the mixed grilled platter and the porterhouse platter. Although pricey, it was excellent value for money and as much as we enjoyed the starters, we probably ordered far too much food. They were very happy to box up the left overs! Our waitress Isabella (or Isabelle) was outstanding and added to our day. She was well informed about the food choices and gave us exceptional service. She really went out of her way and made us feel very welcome. We sat upstairs which has a nice decor. We would visit again.

26 August 2921: Another great pub on the corner of Friar street, one of the oldest historical streets in Worcester with amazing historical history and buildings... Stopped here with our boater friend and sat outside on the tables on Friar street. The ladies had the Hardys Rose which was really good and chilled, perfect on a sunny day. I had a pint of the "Fortyniner" ale and this was absolutely perfect. We ordered two rounds of chips and these were good sized portions and delicious too. The Eagle Vaults is such an amazing building and extremely attractive as well and full of historical architecture no doubt. DANIE at the bar was very friendly, welcoming and cheerful...felt totally at home. There is a restaurant upstairs although we didn't manage to experience the food as they were closed on the day of our anniversary unfortunately. We've been told that their steaks are fantastic and highly rated. Maybe we'll be able to come back for a steak here in the near future when chugging through Worcester again. Thanks Nic (Nicos the owner..?) and to all the other great staff too... Great pub and great staff, well done Nic!!

Walked past this many times and eventually decided to stop for something to eat outside. Food was great and the staff were fantastic and very helpful. Chatted to a few people there which created a great atmosphere. Had a couple of cheeky cocktails from their 2for1 menu which went down very well too. Another great pub in Worcester to add to our list!

Beautiful pub interior with marvellous engraved windows, leather seating and and dark wood trimmings! A good selection of cask ales and alcoholic beverages. Lovely friendly staff, and all situated on the iconic Tudor Friar Street in the heart of Worcester! Fab!

The food is good and the venue defo different to the usual pub. The service though on a quiet day was terrible 20 mins for a pint 45 for the food. A pitta based meal. Music is a little odd for the look of the pub but that adds to the sense of something different.

This is a pleasant pub in the centre of the City that is worth a visit. It has plenty of searing outside, on the ground floor and first floor. The pub maintains a number of original features that helps to great a welcoming environment. The bar staff are friendly and engaging. There is a good selection of beer, wine , cider, lager and soft drinks on offer. This is a great place to visit to have a relaxing drink and a chat.

Great pub and great staff too. The owner is really friendly and makes you feel really welcome. The ladies toilets aren't very nice with toilet seats missing. It would be 5 stars if the toilets were fixed.

The outside of this pub and etched glass is fabulous. Also the Banks Mild is a lovely pint. Welcoming and hard working bar Manager in a Marstons pub. Didn't have same variety of beer as others in Worcester, but don't let that put you off. Friendly and definitely worth a visit.

Amazing food. 2 for 1 pizzas (every Wednesday) is great value! Nice atmosphere/music/decor upstairs. If the upstairs seating is closed, don’t go - wait until it’s open because it’s much nicer!

Very old pub on Worcester town centre, bit dark but buzzing atmosphere. The food is what I went for tho and is pretty good on the whole. Definitely not the best steak in the world as other reviewers suggest but we’ll worth the wait and money. I was disappointed the first visit but decided to give it another go. This time it was cooked to perfection. Having said that I was asked if I wanted fries to which I said no. But fries came and I was charged for them. I didn’t eat them as I’m Really not keen on chips at anytime and didn’t notice them on the bill, as it’s very dark in there. So I will go back for sure and try a different meal as there’s plenty to choose from but not the fastest chef so expect to wait 30 mins for your meal 8/10 for me

Situated at the bottom of this cool street Eagle vaults is a cracking pub with a great landlord and friendly staff.It has been refurbed since I was last in with plush carpets warm living room feeling at the left side with a fire and art installation bikes outside ..plus plenty of tables and seats outside ..the other side is more traditional pub looking..

Just had the gyros from there and I can honestly say it is the best I have had in the UK. An unlikely place for Greek food but I could not fault it. The pitta was delicious and tastes homemade, the chips were glorious and the whole thing was very tasty. Highly recommend it 10/10

We ( my wife, daughter and I) visited at lunchtime today and we were all impressed with the food. Apparently, today was their first time with steak on the menu and I had the inaugural one. Ribeye, medium rare, with a coating of herbs: delicious!!. The bar staff, chef and other customers as well as a nice drop of lager all made for a very cool couple of hours. Recommended.

A proper city centre pub. Good range of drinks availabile and good age range of clients. Service quick and friendly. No food available, due to Xmas Fair in surrounding streets, so no comment on that. Music is a bit loud to warrant 5 stars

Staff very friendly didn't have to wait to be served for long because they was always checking and making sure the customers was OK for drinks.... The dark fruit on tap tasted very crisp and fresh not like some places where the cider on tap can taste flat.... Covid restrictions was very good didn't feel that ppl was to close to me either.

The façade is Victorian tiles i believe, it's unique. It's under temporary management, so the atmosphere may have changed but it's very near the Shambles near Maison Rouge with a outside seating on the street and it's not trendy like most places in Friar Street.
