T. S.I've got to say, I love this place. Great selection of gins, beers and a small amount of cocktails. The cocktails are brilliant worth the money, they are proper. Always seems busy every time we have been there. Friendly
D. T.I used to love the Hand in Glove; I visited for years - way before it was the smart cocktail bar it is today - it used to be a lot more grungy! However, as of late it’s become so… inconsistent. Sometimes it’s open, sometimes it’s not. Sometimes you’ll have great service, sometimes you’ll have the barman making the unimaginative excuse that they’re closed because they’ve “sold out of everything” as they stand in front of a load of full vodka bottles behind the bar at 10pm. It’s lovely if it’s open, but I’d not rely on it being; there are other bars in the vicinity which are a lot more dependable!
K. K.Cosy city pub with extensive selection of gin. Really good cocktails (better than the Botanist imo). I had an excellent margarita in there last week. The upstairs bar is nice, so go up there if you can, but not always open

w.Great spot, they managed to squeeze us in as it was fairly busy and then moved us to another nicer table when it was free. Drinks are pricey but it's worth it for the taste service and experience you have here in my opinion.

A. N.Hands down, one of the best bars in town. The outside is discreet, yet elegant. The inside is always teeming with life and good vibes. It considers itself a cocktail bar and does fulfil very very well. I personally recommend their gin selection, but do ask the staff there - very knowledgeable, always smiling and extremely interesting people. The added fact of being able to rent the upstairs room, a very cosy place for private parties, is a big plus. Strongly recommend!

K.A small and dimly lit bar with nice décor. Has a room available for private parties upstairs with it's own bar. Usually very busy, so a wee wait for drinks may be expected, and you may have to stand, but open later than some of the other pubs in the area.
