C. M.Nice little traditional pub, with an outside bar, cute little garden and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable and atmosphere good.

G. S. C.Friendly service and 2 decent dines at the pub lovely chips on both occasions and cheese burger . Good ales although choice is only 2 on tap but that was explained so can't complain. The atmosphere is cosy especially in the rear room with sofa and bookshelf with a selection of titles to browse as well as free WiFi.
B.Really quirky and surprisingly individual pub business. Went there for a bit of fun and thoroughly enjoyed the setting. The dart board clearly gets used and the pub layout is centered around this so that everyone can watch increasing the pressure for those playing although the bar is partitioned from this area by a wall to not make things too overwhelming.
Enough about darts !! I tried but am clearly out of practice.
The quirkiness is due to the entrance being around the side and the walk to the toilets is a little like a magical mystery tour. This does add character though i feel. Whilst I cannot comment on the food since we did not dine the staff were friendly and the Cider on tap was my favourite. Not many places have it on tap so that was a very pleasant surprise. The drink prices were very reasonable. Almost enough to make you rather tipsy.
Overall not what was expected but a charming and pleasant surprise.
J. F. S.Speedy friendly service. Great Beer friendly quiet atmosphere. I quite often busy it's a very nice pub well recommended. Sometimes they do have events on never been to any of those as they tend to be later nights. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
R. W.As a craft beer/real ale kind of drinker they do have one or two regularly changing beers I believe. Other than that it's lager and cider. They have a decent enough atmosphere in there and they appear to run regular events, I just never find myself staying in there for more than a pint.

V. T.The licensee has spent a lot of time, effort and money to improve this pub. My only criticism is as a regular skittles venue the alley needs tidying up, but in fairness everything takes time and money.
