Really good. First visit and a great live band playing. They were dressed like American hobo's. An old lady tried on both out hats. She was great as well but probably not a regular feature of the pub.

*Edit - (13-05-18)* Now taking card payments! 😊 Lovely family friendly pub with a small, yet comfortable interior. The landlord is a friendly chap, if a little bonkers! The large beer garden has recently been re-done and looks fantastic, with plenty of seating, one of my favourite pubs in Worcester for outside seating. Usually a good range of 3-4 regularly rotated craft ales. Cash only! 💸

Our best beer since lockdown and a reminder of how good well kept cask ale can be. The landlord's put a lot of effort into complying with the new guidelines and deserves support and success.

Firstly the Ale is impeccable. However the real reason this little pub is a gem of place is the music. The foremost live venue in Worcester by a country mile. From local talent to international artists in a local public house. Lastly, the land lord needs to be seem to be believed.

Yes go and try the new independant chief who makes everything fresh, fantastic Humus and toasted Pitabread with salad it's to die for, the music open nights and Touring bands make the Chestnut a real feast of a toasted well oiled jem of a tree, fantastic Gromit! and your host is a legend *Made Pierre* is a star in his own musical ability Playing Suzaphone, b flat base and Trombone when he joins in with some of the bands he's a great and real old fashioned and one of the very few traditional Landlords/ Publicans like me, Grandad jr

Going out with some work mates we decided to go to the Chestnut. It was busy as it was a nice sunny day and they had live music. It was a brilliant couple of hours. It had a great atmosphere, friendly and lively. The beer was one of the best ales around. Wye Valley brewery's HPA bitter was served to perfection. Thoroughly recommend the Chestnut, good crowd, friendly staff, what more can you want!!
