Was OK for what it was food wise.. although my company wasn't pleased about the empty condiment bottles. But you xanthine moan at value for money... I had the Yorkshire puddings. Ideal place for a budget meal and nice pint.

Not a bad pub at all to be honest! Would probably come back to try the food, but they had a small but decent selection of guest ales, bar staff were very friendly and chatty. Not much more to add really as just dropped by for a swifty. Would visit again though!

Been to the virgin tavern for lunch today and three of us had different types of meals and every one of us enjoyed the food. I even managed to clear the plate which I haven't done for a few years. And very reasonable prices as well as being perfectly cooked.

Good place, it has a nice feel to it. On this particular day there was no sound on the TV. Drinks are well priced. They accept contactless payment. Overall good.
