E. s.Had a great lunch here with perfect service from Nikki, my friend had the mixed grill and I had the rump steak that was cooked perfectly rare/med. For dessert she had the sticky toffee and bourbon pudding with LASHINGS of custard and for a custard fiend it satisfied even her. I had the millionaire cheesecake and both Fabulous. Trying to work out what excuse to use to come again soon.
L.We had a Sunday Roast Beef dinner. Amazing value at £8.49 each. The meal was fantastic well cooked 4 veg lots of beef roast potatoes mashed potatoes etc. We have paid nearly double this price in the past and it was not as good as this. We had apple crumble with ice cream and sticky pudding with dates and bourbon both were very nice. Super friendly staff too.

The staff were very friendly and accomoding as my partners kids had allergies and they made sure everything was handled carefully and separately.
The food was affordable and the portions definitely big! The big ice cream desert did 4 people at our table!! It was definitely a challenge and a half.
Only down side is the Internet struggled with ordering on the app for us, not sure if the WiFi was having issues.
s.Came a few years ago and it wasn't great to be fair but we visited with friends last week and everything was great. The staff were super friendly, helpful and responsive even though they were clearly very busy. The food was very reasonably priced, came out quickly and was all perfectly fine (other than an abomination of mushy peas that we could bounce around the table-was a small thing and weren't particularly wanted by their recipient in the first place so we didn't complain and are sure it was probably a one off issue) Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed
S. W.Since the takeover of management around 2 years ago, this establishment has got better and better! The food is great, good value for money and you can tell the staff care about their customers. On our visit the other day, we had Dave (manager), Leanne and Harri (waiting staff), and they were all superb! I didn't get to meet the chefs as of course they're in the kitchen doing some pretty amazing stuff, so I'd like to include them as well. We made ourselves suffer with the BOGOF burger offer, subsequently followed by a Candymania challenge, of which is photographed for your amusement. The glass is about the size of a child's head. It's fair to say we were in a food coma afterwards...
Thank you for another enjoyable visit - it was wonderful! We will be back soon.
o. m.amazing staff , turned up to venue impromptu for a birthday celebration. despite not booking they managed to seat us with just asking us to hang on a while for food as kitchen busy which was fine . we were a table of 9 but they managed to get all the food out together , it was hot, fresh and as ordered . the whole experience was great from start to finish thanks to the amazing staff that were polite ,friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble and a big shout too the kitchen staff , busy day.hot and they still pulled it out of the bag .cheers
K. S.Nice place food had amazing portions perfectly cooked to your choice and amazing prices but the bathrooms let the place down there was feaces on the walls and the toilet which isn't very hygienic considering children come here so you get a okay from me
T. S.Food was fairly reasonable but the side salad was passed its best 2-days ago at least. Best thing about the food was the chips. My baguette turned up covered in melted cheese which I don't like. Toilets are desperately in need of updating and repainting, a good clean wouldn't go amiss either
B. S.Great pub, incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Food is brilliant for breakfast lunch or dinner. So much flavour and choice for a great price. Could do with a little bit of a spruce up but that doesn’t hinder the 5 star score of this establishment!
