A really nice pub that has a beautiful beer garden and facilities ! Always got good music on and is a brilliant place to go with a group of mates if you’re looking for a not too crowded place to sit, chat and have a couple cheeky ones !

Local pub from where I live. Normally very quiet in here, and for some reason they still aren't offering food, despite having all the facilities to do so. The landlord and his son are very nice and always friendly whenever I visit. Pool table available here and a decent beer garden out the back. Good selection of lagers available as well

Welcoming very dog friendly pub with a decent selection of cider. Unique layout inside with various areas to sit. Some benches to sit on out the front and also a garden out the back. Also has pool, darts, bar billiards and table football.

Meet up with a few friends there they made us feel very welcome we sat in a large garden at back away from the road the staff were very helpful and service was good has a good selection of draught beer 🍺 and other drink can have coffee or tea I we liked and definitely going to return 👍

I moved to Worthing about a year and a half ago, and live close by this pub - which, after just one visit, I decided was going to be my local. Every time I've been to the Charles Dickens it has been a fantastic experience - even if just for a drink.The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is perfect. The food is also exquisite, both in terms of taste and presentation - I think each meal I've eaten there has been more delicious than the last. More people should venture out to the west-end of Worthing to this awesome pub - it really is a hidden gem! They also allow dogs, which is perfect for after you've walked the dog on the beach and are feeling a bit peckish! I really would recommend this pub to anyone, as it's up there with my favourite places to go.

Great place, good selection of good value drinks, friendly helpful staff, Pub itself a bit tired & in need of update but landlord is addressing that bit by bit. Update: New owner means works on updating the place are underway. Cellar function room getting a lot of attention. Regular music events including already established monthly Blues Jam

Not a very pleasant place but if u want to drink a few beers with the mates it will do the job. Wouldn't take anlady to this pub. The whole toilet floor was full with urine and dirt the tap it was just to dirty to even touch sink aswell. U could smell the alcohol in staff's breath altough I give 3 stars as it is a nice victorian theme and I got what I wanted. It is an expensive place so be prepared

Just moved to Worthing. Great boozer. Quiet enough for a couple to have Sunday lunch but vibrant enough ti enjoy the football with a good craft ale. The staff are fantastic too. Real little Gem.

It's ok... not great. Staff at lunch time a bit hit and miss. Not always someone at the bar. No food. Kitchen not used. They have some reasonable music. Most evenings free entertainment

Cannot find fault with this pub. Really friendly staff, great food, amazing selection of whiskeys and the decor, atmosphere and facilities are first class. Beers and such could be cheaper but they're not over the top expensive either. Overall, my favourite pub in Worthing.
