R. H.Really great Sunday lunch. One of the best selection of Sunday lunch vegetables with great tender meat. Venison, beef and lamb all great.
Warm and friendly atmosphere. Great wood fire. Allows well behaved dogs.
M. P.Amazing old pub and decor, amazing tasty food, staff where excellent and helped with a member of our party with food allergies and issues. Live band in the garden area with an amazing atmosphere throughout the venue.
J. S.We had our company summer party here and what can I say, it was amazing! We had a bbq which tasted so good, also had ice cream from a bike which went down very well. We also ordered in a live singer which worked a treat. The barn and outside space worked perfectly for our 40 strong crowd, also little extras like a photo booth worked very well. Staff were so good and made such a difference to make our time so enjoyable. Thank you very much, perfect place to have our party for the 1st time in over 2 years. Very impressed with the 5 star service 👍🏻
P. V.We had been down to Littlehampton and wanted to stop somewhere for lunch. We decided to drive into Findon and we were so happy to came across it. Lovely old pub, with a garden with plenty of seating. The staff warned us they were busy but that was okay & we decided to wait. Well worth it. Food was well presented and very tasty. We will definitely stop over on way back in future.
M. M.The team were extremely welcoming and friendly, despite the fact that we arrived later than our booking because of traffic delays. The atmosphere is relaxed and the music was subtle and did not drown out our conversation. The service and food were both fantastic. As the only vegetarian in our party I was delighted to have a freshly cooked tasty meal (aubergine pakora with tomato rassam and cumin rice) and will definitely be visiting again. I thoroughly recommend this pub.
A. H. i. F.In memory of my mother, we hired the courtyard at The Gun Inn one Saturday lunchtime at the end of July this year. Sally, Tristan and the whole team were absolutely fantastic and helped us to create a wonderful celebration lunch for close family and friends. So many people commented on the wonderful setting, delicious food and fabulous staff.
We couldn’t have hoped for a better day.
Thank you everyone at The Gun Inn for looking after us all this year - from the lunch after Mum’s funeral in December in the cosy private room, to this summer's celebration in the courtyard.
It is a truly fantastic pub - for every occasion.
J. Y.A warm welcome and a delicious lunch. Crispy Courgette fritters and feta cheese starter. Rolled belly of lamb, new potatoes, creamed courgette and caper sauce, broccoli. My husband had a wonderful club sandwich. Top marks!
V. C.I was there last night for dinner and I was one of the two vegetarians in the party. We each tried one of the two veggie options on the menu. It’s very evident that The Gun has really put much thought into their vegetarian menu and along with the taste and presentation we were both really impressed.
