We went to the Henty Arms for the first time today and were very impressed - the brilliant lady behind the bar, Carly, was so friendly and welcoming and full of helpful tips about the local area, and the food was delightful - I had a cheeseburger and then for afters chose the classic lemon sponge and custard, which was sensational - my partner had bread and butter pudding and says it is the best dessert she has ever had. Brilliant service, wonderful food, a proper, welcoming pub serving food and drink at proper prices. We absolutely loved it. Thanks Carly and the other tremendous staff for a great experience. We will be back as soon as we can

This lovely traditional village pub has a conker championship every year with the Sompting Morris presiding, a beer festival in Summer and lots of other brilliant events throughout the year. A big asset to the village. Great sunday roast, fantastic menu with daily specials and great selection of drinks; beers, wines and gins in particular. Good facilities, with disabled access to the restaurant area from the big back car park. Enclosed garden area, and enclosed children's play area.

Lovely traditional pub with a good atmosphere. Just had a wonderful meal, the food is very good and reasonably priced, try the chicken and leek pie it's great and very tasty. We will now make this our favorite pub/restaurant. The beer festival in now on, and what a great venue this is, I would recommend this. A special thanks to a very good waiter (Alex) who was very cheerful, helpful, friendly and professional.

Nice little pub in the village, with excellent staff and service on a Friday night. It is not that crowded, but just gives to its charm. Food was not exceptional, but really good and what you expect. Also, it was full of life on Friday evening, a pleasant surprise! Definitely recommend for a visit if you are in town!

Always a decent pub, the Henty has made a decent fist of configuring its garden and carpark into a Covid compliant space to enjoy a very well kept ale. Well done Vernon and crew for making a passable silk purse out of this sows ear of a time.

Been here a number of times now and every time we have been received with a very warm welcome, staff always happy and friendly, and very welcoming to our children, but by far the best thing... Nice village pub, visit here regularly with my Dad, who lives in Ferring. The service in the Henty is very good & very friendly. The food is exceptional value for the money, and the menu is good. Has just been decorated wth new carpets & seating, the open fire is a nice touch.

Nice pub, good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, children's play area which is quite new and they run a beer festival every year which is a nice day out for the whole family. Jukebox means the music selection might be a bit random. Nothing elevates the pub above just nice/3 stars though.

Hi I have been to the Henty arms a few times now and have not been disappointed at all.a really nice pint of beer, a good choice of drinks,great personal service,but it's the food which is what we go for,it cannot be beaten,well cooked,fresh and tasty,can't recommend enough,just watch out for the step in the gents,the other thing to mention,loads of parking,great garden to sit in.
