One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Well put together and a hearty portion size. Good choice of ales, larger and ciders plus bottles of guest beer. The staff were nice ans polite and ever accommodated us even though we had too push chairs with us that had taken up quite a bit of space. As its in the centre of York, don't expect a quiet drink. The atmosphere is loud and buzzing. Highly recommend the Scooby Doo burger!!!

We went on a Thursday and were easily able to get a table, staff were friendly and helpful, drinks were reasonably priced, nice background music but still easily able to hold a conversation with friends.

This place is a hidden little gem! After a disappointing entry refusal due to having a pram from the eatery next door, dusk welcomed us with open arms to their spacious venue. The staff were SOOO friendly and catered for the children in our party ranging from 3-9 years. It was spacious and welcoming. The drinks were insanely cheap but good quality and the food was SCRUMPTIOUS. we had the sharing platter and I couldn't recommend it more!! Excellent quality for money! It was a lovely place to catch your breath, have a rest and some yummy food during a busy Saturday outing in York. I know where we will be eating during every visit from now on!

Have played a few events here and the sound system is pretty good. Overall, a good bar and they do deals (2 for 1 I believe) for cocktail shots. The morgan piers cocktail was particularly good.

Lovely bar/cafe with a great cocktail selection and a nice atmosphere. The one thing that let's this place down is the staff, we were greeted by someone who couldn't care less whether we stopped for a drink and made it seem like we were causing her a hassle when asked if they had a free table (which they had plenty). Extremely unwelcoming and rude, personally putting me off coming back, why work in the hospitality industry if you then are rude to any customers that try to enjoy your establishment. On that note the rest of the staff were very friendly so maybe this girl in particular was having a bad night.

One of my favourite drinking establishments in York: great vibes, great drinks, friendly staff. Can sometimes be a bit full in this day and age, but you can always pop to the Drawing Board. Wish I could give it a six!

We called here for lunch today and the food was amazing. It is a really lovely place. Staff very friendly and was a great atmosphere. Very fast service too, and 2 for 1 cocktails :-) I can highly recommend.

Unassuming friendly little Bar you wish you lived next to. Eclectic selection of Beers and Ciders, super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and cool vibes from the sound system. Previous review on here says a customer "loved the staff more than my own kids". Not far off the mark!

There's no better prices for cocktails in city center of York than Dusk. Good quality of cocktails, great prices, great atmosphere for students, 2 floors, outdoor place for smoking. Only small minus is small range of beers. 5 star for prices, quality and serving time.

I enjoy coming here on a late night out for some delicious cocktails. Sometimes it can be really busy, but there is usually an empty spot upstairs. I would highly recommend trying some of their signature cocktails here, especially the Barack Obama in particular.

I've been to dusk quiet a few times, they offer good bar food during the day along with drinks. On a night they normally have a 2-4-1 offer on cocktails. Would recommend trying this place.

Love Dusk, as a bar. Less so as a coffee and panini place during the day, but it's really chilled. More of a studenty and arty decor...it's no good for you people who like sparkly or upmarket. In the eve it's one of the few places in York to play some alternative music. Love the atmosphere.

(Translated) Really nice place, dropped into the city of York and its history. In 3 weeks I searched for places like this without having much success, but finally yesterday, thanks to local friends, I found this fantastic 2-storey place where excellent beer is served and live music is made until late in the evening. The musicians allow the audience to sing as if it were a karaoke, thus creating a truly pleasant situation. Recommended for those who want to have fun and meet people. (Original) Posto davvero bello, calato nella città di York e nella sua storia. In 3 settimane ho cercato dei locali come questo senza avere molto successo, ma finalmente ieri, grazie ad amici del posto, ho trovato questo fantastico locale a 2 piani dove si serve ottima birra e si fa musica dal vivo fino a tarda serata. I musicisti permettono al pubblico di cantare come se fosse un karaoke, creando così una situazione veramente gradevole. Consigliato per chi vuole divertirsi e conoscere gente.
