Tots Christmas Party We had such such a fab time at the tots Christmas party today! Lots of fun and games for the kids, food & drinks, prizes and presents what more could you ask for! Beccie was a brilliant host and it was a great surprise for the kiddies when Santa and his Elf came to say hello too 🎅🏻 Well worth the money (only £6) and will definitely be returning again next year to party 🎄 Thank You

My 2 boys love it here. Always clean and staff are always friendly! Great value for money too! Great for younger ones as you can generally see most of the play area and keep an eye on them. The coffee and cake deal is a must too!

Come to this play barn a lot with my two sons 3 and 3 months. Play barn is great for children to let off some steam. Staff are always very friendly and helpful especially Beccie who served me the last time I went. She went above and beyond with her service. Food is always great and the coffee and cake deal is great too. Would recommend for families looking for a low cost day out for the kids.

Food was reasonable, prices good and child friendly. Service was very slow, took ages to clear the table after we were finished with main course. Ordered desserts which took twenty minutes or so to come out, it was only ice cream! When it came the adult desserts were brought before the kids which wasn’t ideal. Room for improvement but for a cheap and relaxed meal it’s an ok place.

We had a great time this morning at the Clifton Moor Wacky warehouse. I particularly loved the great selection of children’s books and musical instruments. It’s perfect for the little tots who want to have a little down time in between running around! The craft table works well too. Definitely a winner for us.

I've just been in Wacky with my daughters & we've been served by lovely Beccie ❤️ She made a giant delicious latte for me. And looking after us very well. My children have really good time, so I can say, it's worth going there and having some time for yourself when they are busy running around 😁

If you just need a breather and let the little ones run rampant then this is the place to go. My little one loves it here and always burns as much energy as possible. The staff are always welcoming and the passes are reasonably prices when on a tight budget. Perfect distractions in the school breaks. Time to enjoy a warm cuppa. :)

Wonderful morning out with my 2 year old lots of room for him to play and explore. Beccie introduced everything and was a wonderful host making sure we had everything we needed. Food and drink was really good would recommend going. We will be going back when we are next in York.

Went to wacky warehouse tonight for the Halloween party at clifton moor my sister won two free tickets for us to go aswell as her. I would definitely of paid the £8 for it. I definitely recommend going. Becci and her team was amazing and Becci went round every table speaking to everyone she is very friendly and kind. I will definitely be attending the Christmas one and would recommend people to come worth every penny. Also the food was amazing and did absolutely loads. Olivia

Fantastic experience! My boy had his 4th birthday party yesterday he loved it so much playing with his friends. Beccie who was the staff member hosting his party was fantastic she did everything for us we just got to sit bk and talk to other parents. All the kids that came to the party got a party bag and balloon what the company included in the package. Will definitely be bk again

I haven't visited Wacky Warehouse for years, as the last time I visited it was very dirty etc (2013 ish) The staff were very friendly Beccie and another lady who's name I didnt catch.. It was quite cool in there too, and clean. The food was very nice, and the speed in which the tables were cleared was also prompt. The only downside I found, was that the party table could be set out a little better, so children can access their seats and exit easier. Overall it was a positive visit, and I will be back :-)

Called by with my pre-school aged granddaughter on a midweek morning in school term time; a great time to go if you can, with less than 20 similarly aged children in a play facility with capacity for 80+ And she loved it, with safe access to the over 5's area. Had drinks but didn't eat, although the menu looked good value. Only one staff member on duty at the time but she was friendly and helpful.

It's a good cheap play centre that entertained my 2 Yr old grandson but I wouldn't recommend for maybe over 7s as not much for them to do as quite small. *In reply to owners response, I left 3 stars as the food was cold & hard and it wasn't clean & tidy and the staff member kept leaving the building numerous times and the safety of children are at risk as majority of people leave the gates open! **

Wonderful customer service from Becky on a miserable rainy Saturday. We were made to feel very welcome after a disappointing afternoon not being able to get in at a single soft play between Northallerton and York! We got good advice on arrival about combining our visit to the play area with eating dinner in the restaurant - the two are in separate buildings but they are joined by a canopy covered walkway. Worth noting if you go on a weekend then you can't get food in the play area, you have to go into the restaurant. Place isn't the biggest or the newest soft play but there's plenty to do including a separate area for the under 5s and kids TV showing as well. As a tall adult I was able to get round most of the older kids section with ease - useful if you ever need to rescue your kid!

Loved our time here. Came with a 3 and a 7 year old and they both had great fun. We sat and had a drink and snack whilst they played and spent ages. It's clean and well taken care of. Will definitely be coming back. Highly reccomend to use the kids energy before having lunch next door

Service started very slow, but by the time we left the landlord had started his stint so people seemed a bit more animated. Place seemed pretty clean and well presented, but is just another Green king pub with all the charachter of a caravan park. It seemed quite busy when we left, so the food must be ok, and is dirt cheap. As with all GK pubs they get it back on the beer, £5.35 for a pint of Peroni, about the same as a city centre restaurant. Will call again if passing, but not really a destination.

We visited here after a day out. We just visited the restaurant, the little play park was good but maybe something for the younger guests would be good too?! We were surprised by the two courses for £10 at the weekend. They were great value for money and was big portions. The meals were really nice and staff were very helpful and friendly. The only reason it lost stars is it weren't very clean and tidy. The toilets were broken and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. As a staff member of Green King myself is was disappointing to see the cleaning was not upto good standards

Ideal place to bring the young children to play and climb about while you watch and have a drink , height restrictions apply so my grand children can no longer use it, however they loved coming here. Its a clean and well run place ample free parking , meals and snacks available with different drinks available, clean well kept toilets on site, a lovely area in West Yorkshire. A great meeting place for mums.

My family and I stopped off to get a bite to eat before returning to our hotel, and we were not disappointed with the quality, price and service from the restaurant which too has comfortable surroundings with which to dine in.

The play space was really good for my little ones, especially on a school day when there is only 10 other kids in there. The general facilities were a bit tired, toilets were dirty and hadn't looked to have been cleaned in a few days. Food was general pub stuff. Microwave or deep fried, nothing too special or extravagant. You basically know what you are getting with a Wacky, tired kids!!

Simply excellent value for money! I was in a party of 15 and the majority of the meals were served promptly apart from 4 who were waiting another 10 minutes or so which I didn't think was bad for a busy Good Friday lunchtime. The party was prebooked and I had the 2 course offer for £10 consisting of chicken tika with rice, 3 onion bajas, nan bread, two dips and even chips all which came on the same huge plate. I finished off with lemon cheese cake. All in all I was well satisfied with the meal (couldn't finish it all!) and will certainly visit again.

Decent food, excellent value. After a failed attempt to try the £15 family deal at a Hungry Horse in Cleethorpes due to a 90 minute wait on food we decided to try HH here in York. Again, low on staff but we ordered just before a big queue and was pleasantly surprised. Meals were served within 15 minutes and although usually a sign of pop-de-ping cooking the food was of better quality than the falling standards of Brewers Fayre. A fantastic value deal just right for us.

Hi everyone :) We had a lovely day out in York on the 10th, and after a hectic few weeks it was a welcomed escape. Feeling weary around 6pm, we headed out to Flying Legends at Clifton Moor for dinner. Having eaten here only 2 weeks before and thoroughly enjoyed it, we were looking forward to returning. Having sat down at a table our first concern was cleanliness. The menus were covered in dirty fingerprints and sauce marks, and the picture on the wall behind us had a food stain down it. These could have so easily been rectified if the staff had been on top of their game, I can't see an excuse for dirty menus as they should be wiped down when the table gets cleaned? After much deliberation, we both opted for the Mixed Grill, with the deal price being only £9 each this is a really good place to eat if you are wanting value for money. When there are two of you dining they offer a range of different meal deals, so eating here can really be quite cheap depending on what you choose. When our food arrived they had forgotten to add the sausages to both of our plates, when this was pointed out to a staff member behind the bar he brought them in a seperate dish and apologised. The plates were piled with chips leaving little room for the rest, however we did enjoy it and the food was indeed of good quality for a pub meal. At no point did any staff approach us, other than to bring our forgotten sausages, to ask if everything was ok or if we had any problems. Our plates weren't even cleared before we left the pub, which isn't really acceptable. Overall, I know that mistakes happen and things do get forgotten, however it was a fairly quiet evening in Flying Legends so they can't blame a busy kitchen as an excuse. Also, all members of staff should be aware that both cleanliness and their manners make a big difference to a customers experience when dining out. Thanks for reading :) Em x

Its an ok place to eat if you want some where to sit and eat, whilst at Clifton Moor or the cinema. It has its own car park and is located next to Vue. The food was average and I did get a big portion which I couldn't eat all of!! The staff are friendly and helpful, the food was also served quickly even though it was quite busy.

Downloaded their app to book on line and get delivered at the table but everything I ordered and tried to ask to basket wouldn't let me , try to order a bottle of wine but only had options for a glass, showed the app to the bar staff but it was his first night so he had no ides but at the time waiting to be served he was too busy either talking to the chef or playing with his hair and kept turning away from me when taking my order , wasn't really interested . So is this 20% on the app encouraged? No. Oh the lady in three top behind the bar easwas interested vin serving us too bust talkin she had blonde hair , basically very lapsed , don't think they have a very good manager

Great value entertainment for our 3 year old, who goes at least once every week. Unfortunately it has to be when he's with other kids he knows, as adults aren't allowed in the play areas, so he gets bored after 2 mins if he's on his own. At least half of the staff need some customer service training. Nobody ever seems bothered and on occasion, being served feels like you're causing them hassle. I got a proper, angry barking at the first time I went - the sort of rollicking you get from your mum when you're a young kid. It was because I went into the ball pit with my son, as other soft play areas allow. I said there were no signs saying this and she pointed at a full page of A4 with several paragraphs of text in small font, saying it says on there. Oh right... sorry, I'll spend 45 mins reading all of the notices you have pinned up then, just to be sure I know all of your rules. Sadly, I think the woman was just a sour old idiot and isn't a true reflection of the rest of the staff - they're much less interested.

I can't speak for other people on here and maybe this place has improved but my experience was great. We got a seat straight away and ordered through the Greene King app. The food came within 10 minutes and it was delicious. We ordered the vegetarian fish and chips (battered haloumi). As a veggie I'm used to bean burgers from pubs like this but this was a whole new level of veggie goodness! There were lots of other good veggie options too which was a surprise! Can't comment on the meat options but I'd assume they're good given the food I ate. Veggie approved!!!

We went up to the bar and ordered 3 roast dinners and 2 cheese & potato pies. They then came and informed us there was only one pie left so my sister had to have that as she is vegetarian and my mum had to go for something else. The 4 roast dinners arrived they were ok but I was missing Yorkshire pudding which is my favourite I was very disappointed but ended up stealing my husbands so that was ok. When the pie came 5/10 minutes after everything else it was totally wrong the menu stated that it came with roast potatoes, carrots, green beans and peas....but it didn't it arrived with just peas and chips which my sister who is very health conscious would not touch with a ten foot barge pole. We asked one of the staff members and he was very kind about going to get her some veggies and potatoes and he was very apologetic...when he brought the plate back we were still missing carrots and there was meat gravy...even though we mentioned she was vegetarian at this point we decided to give up lol... was a bit of a disaster but the food we did get was nice and staff were helpful

We had a 5th birthday party at wacky warehouse flying legends in York last weekend. It was great from start to finish, lots of help and info given when booking the party and we were impressed with what was included. The food was great and organisation was spot on, the ladies working that day (Kiera and Faye) were just brilliant and lovely. The kids all enjoyed the party and werre really happy with their party bags (supplied by wacky) and what was in them. All I needed to do was bring a cake and they literally took care of everything, will definitely be booking in again in the future, would highly recommend!

We had our daughter's 7th birthday party here, which she, her friends and a few toddler siblings thoroughly enjoyed. Beccie from the Wacky Warehouse team was around on the day and she made sure everything went smoothly as planned. I would definitely recommend this place.
