G. L.Solid pub where you know what you're getting. Good hunky style curry sauce which paired well with both battered potatoes and scampi. Scampi was succulent and juicy, really just left you licking your lips. Lovely staff service too, would recommend.
C. D.The wife and I spent most of a great afternoon in here while visiting from Tucson, Az. It was summer they said. We were freezing while everyone else was in shorts. Lol. But we had an amazing lunch and great drinks. Just a really nice pub to hang out in and the staff was awesome. Thanks

D. M.There are many and varied pub experiences in York, but this one has old peculiar beer which is dark and sweet almost addictive flavour. One of the best drafts I've ever had.
