Just had a ploughmans and prawn salad. Both excellent. One of best ploughmans I've had in a long time.

This is an absolutely fantastic pub, we came here on the 25th of October 2022 and I must say I loved it. The staff are so helpful kind and friendly and the beer is perfect. If you are a real ale drinker like myself you will love it. I urge everybody to use this pub because it is the best in the area.

We called in here for lunch today.Food was lovely. Had ham salad it actually was a salad not just lettuce leaves. Staff were lovely. Not expensive

If you like great, traditional pub food, you should not pass up the Angel. Outstanding scampi, steak pie, and prawn sandwich. Generous portions, and the chips! The chips are to die for - just like Grandma used to make. Excellent service, lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Great freshly cooked food with very generous portions. Pub itself a bit gloomy and a little tired looking. Toilets could do with a bit of love and modernisation. There was a giant TV with football playing but because we were seated at the other end of the room it didn't disturb us at all. If you want a reasonably priced good meal this is definitely a place to try.

Gotta love the Angel. Definitely my favourite place for a quick, sneaky pint in Easingwold. Welcoming and friendly staff. Clean lines and crisp beer. Always a cute doggo around too. Apparently their cricket team isn't too bad either.

This pub is fab! The food is home made and lovely! Great value as well. The publicans and staff are very friendly and they all love dogs so it's a great place to go. I would recommend it to all. Enjoy

Really good experience visiting here. Don't often come to Easingwold but when we do it's always a pleasant town to visit. On entry the lady behind the bar said hello. We ordered two regular all day breakfasts which were reasonably priced and came quickly. The egg and sausage was particularly good. The alcohol was quite expensive and the toilets could have been a bit better but were OK for a pub. Also the WiFi connection was hardly working. Definitely be back to try something else on the reasonably priced menu.

Good choice of food & drink and good place to watch sporting events on TV. I was there with friends & acqaintances watching the RU autumn internationals (so SKY Sports). No complaints ...but will probably watch the 6-Nats, broadcast on terrestrial TV at home! I have no hesitation in recommending The Angel where a warm & courteous adult welcome is assured.

We went in for dinner ordered the beef and onion sandwich which was like eating leather i couldn't even cut it with the knife other half got a chicken cheese melt that was a warm up the cheese was well done to a degree where it was rubbery im afraid we won't b going back
