C. M.Absolutely loved this venue! Amazing drink choices. The staff provided great service. The live music both Friday and Saturday night provided a very good atmosphere and some lovely entertainment! Would 100% be back here if I visit York again any time in the future! Definitely give it a try if you like live music and a drink!
D.A great range of beers for those who are into craft ales. Relaxing atmosphere for mid week lunch. Very popular in the evenings and weekends here so arrive early! Fossgate can get quite busy at peak times. …
A. M.Have visited here a couple of times in the past week. Both times the service has been efficient and friendly. Pizzas were freshly made in the wood fired oven at the back and were very tasty.
Great selection of beers.
Only slight caveat is that they don’t take table bookings and it can be difficult to get into at busy times.

M. W.Excellent range of beers by knowledgeable staff. It's got a huge atrium you can sit in and have delicious fresh cooked pizzas. Slightly off touristy track which is good.
M. D.We stopped in for a pint or two, but didn't eat. The beer was cold, the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant did provide a place in the front of the restaurant to relax while having a pint while the courtyard in the back, well lit, was reserved for those who wanted to eat. There was a large variety of beer to choose from.
A. T.Good pizza and a great bar tender. Let me try a few beers during an off peak time so I could order one I liked. I'll be back when I'm there again.
D. K.Really lovely bar, food let it down for me, sweet potato fries were over cooked, olives were soft and squashy. Pizza was a bit doughy and quite burned on the crust. Otherwise really nice place.
