We were visiting from the Midlands, having run a parkrun on Saturday. All I can say is we had one of the best breakfasts we've had after a run. And the service was excellent!

Looking forward to this being my new local when we move into the area in May. Friendly staff, decent drinks and very very reasonable prices. Love seeing wuffs in the pub. Not just the odd one, loads. And never any bother or barking. Feels like a proper homely place.

Great pub, though very large so can sometimes feel a little empty. The food is amazing though and very reasonably priced. Great selection of authentic tapas, and the cheese board is a must!

For me the best racecourse in Britain. Unlike Cheltenham and Ascot, you do not get ripped off for food and drink . Viewing is tremendous , plenty of variety on food and drink. The racecourse is beautifully maintained.

Nice pub, nice cold pint of something brewed locally. Good crowd of (what looked like) regulars. Massive TV to watch the football (if that's your thing), switched over to golf when it was done. It was 3 deep at the bar but got served quickly and managed to find a table. No lower limit on card spend

Wonderful green open space. Nice walks through the woods that back onto it. Great service track for running and the cycle track runs by the side. Lots of people walking dogs but no issues with dog poo. Avoid on race days

Ran out of biere moretti, Amstel. Only Carling and San Miguel available. No shots available such as jager bombs, sambuca, tequila. Don't drink these often but fancied one. Service ok

The Knavesmire pub do breakfast Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Breakfast takeout rolls on the other days. Me and my wife had a breakfast today it was excellent. Well done to the kitchen staff and fantastic service front of house from Chris and Charles!

Visited for the first time in a while. Very organised and clean with all the covid regs. Done a good job with the outdoor seating and inside as good as it used to be. Highly recommend

I can honestly say that this is the first pub in my lifetime that I've encountered an automatic ordering system. If Rachel spots me entering through the front door, by the time I reach the back bar she's poured a pint of pale ale (whatever's the palest on offer that night) without me asking. Brilliant service.

Great friendly pub. Big screen for the big games and plenty of TVs for any other sport you want. They also let you have the commentary on instead of piping bland music over the top. So rare these days it seems

Lisa the owner couldn't have been more helpful and friendly she let us use her landline phone to sort a taxi to see Rod Stewart the food was delicious and the beer wasn't half bad as well so if you want a pub to visit make this one your first choice 😀😀
