This is a great pub. The building is large and spacious. There are several drinks on draft. Personally, I went for a berry cider, which was from the bottle, nice and cold and tasted great. There are some really nice new wooden tables and seating outside. The staff were attentive and helpful to myself and other customers. I would come back if I was in the area again.

I like the new design, nice to get a pint of water on the house. Nice always to see local friendly faces. I just wish they would do a cup of tea in the evenings, as I would always buy one get water free.

I liked it but you might not want to take your mum there. Reasonably priced beer, nearest pub to the hospital. It's a drinkers pub.

Great environment. Everyone friendly and welcoming. Dogs allowed which is a bonus for me as my fur baby goes everywhere with me. Can't wait to visit again 😍

Me and my partner where in on a Wednesday night, very quiet but the bar man was very pleasant and welcoming as was quite a good singer as it was karaoke night , but has a talk about whether he was Scottish or Irish

Nice old fashioned English pub - cheap beer, sports on quietly and a moderate but lovely clientele. If you want intricacy you're in the wrong place, if you want a pint and a round of pool with your mates after work (whenever that is), this is the place for you.

Amazing experience which made our weekend stay. Called in Saturday and Sunday evening and was made to feel very welcome by the manager and manageress, also made some friends whom will stay in contact with, especially Chris. Thoroughly entertained by Joan. It was like a home from home. Looking forward to future exchange trips. Would thoroughly recommend x
