I only have positive things to say about my dealings with Giggs & Hone in particular Sharon and Garry. As someone moving out for their first time, even with all the competition for rentals right now, I didn’t quite realise how difficult it would be for two brothers to find a place to live. With everything being fairly new to me I had lots of questions and thankfully I got through to someone like Sharon who sat on the phone with me initially for 10-15 minutes who explained it all thoroughly AND got us a viewing within days after talking. There we met Garry who showed us the property and again was a lovely person who left every question answered and importantly left us feeling at ease. Communication throughout has been fantastic with back and forth emails/phone calls keeping us informed and the whole process has taken about 2 weeks which is way sooner than we expected but again fantastic. Although I did not end up taking a property via this company, I wish I had! I ended up taking a property via another agent and they are nothing compared to the help i received from Gemma and Sharon when enquiring with Giggs and Hone, however i was not quick enough to snatch up their property at the time. Since moving in (with another agent) i have had too many issues to list and the current agency are so slow to respond and have not corrected any issues as of yet. I have a friend who recommended Giggs and Hone as she rents through them and has never been kept waiting with maintenance issues. I have spoken to the ladies again today as my tenancy is up in a few months and i will not be renewing but waiting for a property to come available with Giggs. When i called today once again they could not have been more helpful and informative etc.

I had never heard of Giggs and Hone but my daughter recommended them, particularly Dane, with whom she had dealt. I found him to be naturally helpful friendly and approachable and not like the stereotype at all. After moving in the 5* service continued for me, I happened to mention that my front door was one of the only ones on the road without a Chubb lock. After searching for a bungalow for nearly a year this was the only company that could be bothered to help. After registering with many agents there were few calls. Most responded by “you can look on Rightmove”. This team are more proactive. Call you, help during the viewing, point out pros and cons. Might be said to be old fashioned estate agency. Don’t see that as a negative. Most expect Rightmove to do the job. Support is there from viewing right through to the sale being finalised. Luigi, Garth and Dane all went the extra mile. Sorry I kept you outside Garth, still feeling guilty😂. Would recommend to anyone.
