We have used other estate agents in are area, but find Haart very efficient and good at keeping us up to date. Vicky has been friendly and helpful with the sale of our house.

Viewed a couple of houses with a friendly estate agent called Pete, a real credit to the company! He arrived early to make sure all the windows and door were open and he took socially distancing in a very professional manner. I felt safe when viewing with Pete. I look forward to hopefully finding my new home through him and if I ever come to sell in the future it will be with Pete!

We bought our first home through Pete, he’s very friendly and informative, he always followed through with what he said and was easy to get hold of. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into the purchase (which was good as it felt quite daunting being first time buyers) He was able to answer all my questions and if he didn’t know he came back to us with an answer promptly. Overall we had a great experience and we would use Pete again!

We contacted Haarts and Vicky came round for an initial discussion. She was very professional, not pushy and this is what led us to appoint Haarts for the sale. She spent a couple of hours carefully measuring up and providing guidance as to market price and approach. The house sold the next day. We would certainly recommend Vicky and Haart in the future.

With my professional career having given me a healthy level of distrust and cynicism over many years about commissioned salespeople in general and how they tend to choose to act in the line of their work, it takes a lot for any of them to impress me. And indeed, many of the estate agents I've dealt with over the past months absolutely confirmed the preconceptions I came into this buying and selling process with. But Haart have very much done the seemingly impossible.......I *am* impressed. Very. After a poor experience with another agency, I decided after a few months of languishing to give Haart a go at selling my home instead. I'd liked the way an agent from a neighbouring branch of Haart had come across during a viewing some weeks before (particularly in comparison with some of the other estate agents I viewed properties with around that time) and they just seemed to be a bit different as a company.....it feels like they've been trained well to be more outwardly client-focused. So I thought I'd give them a shot. From the outset, I found Pete to be (in common with his colleague from another branch) genuine....like you're talking to a person, not a salesperson....and understanding - taking an impressive amount of time to talk things through fully with me at our initial valuation meeting (and to be fair, I did talk for a long time that day) and being instantly accommodating of all the numerous concerns I had and the hard rules of engagement on this contract that I now wanted to play by. Time would of course tell whether this was just yet more slick, empty salesperson snake-oil though..... The result - a buyer was found and confirmed just *eleven days* after going on the market. And not even at the hottest time of year for sales. And not just one offer at a good price was found for me, but there were *two* on the table. Sales progression was then picked up by Gary who was friendly, informative, always available and just as personable along the way. In short, they're friendly, they're trustworthy (never thought I'd find myself saying that..) answered all my questions, happily went along with my requirements such as how and when to contact me (that other agencies flatly wouldn't) and they sold my place quickly. If you're trying to sell your home and you find your estate agent is really exemplifying the reasons why estate agents tend to have the reputation they do, give Haart a go - or even cut to the chase and choose them from the beginning. They seemed a *lot* better than many of the others to me.

(Updated). Initial sign up was with Nik from Bedford who was friendly, professional and really personable and came across as authentic (a breath of fresh air!). I loved the video too! Pete from Biggleswade then managed the viewings and he did a fantastic job initially and found us a buyer. However, the sale fell through within 2 weeks because of mortgage issues and then the service did too. We used to get proactive and ongoing feedback, which was really useful and he seemed to work hard to get it sold but I am baffled why this changed. We then just got text communications until I called and asked if everything was OK, had to ask for room measurements to go on (they didn't!) and we didn't receive the right advice about changing our price on Rightmove. He would also not reconsider negotiating the fee so we're now moving agents. Disappointing.
