I bought and sold a property with Emma and it was undoubtedly the best service I have received from an Estate Agent. Emma was always available to take a call, dealing with my questions expertly and she went way above and beyond what I could have expected, working viewers around my schedule and even letting me collect the keys for my new house from her on a Sunday afternoon, I've never heard of any other estate agent doing this! Emma came out to give a valuation and rather than being pushy and continually bigging herself up like you get with most estate agents she was very friendly and compassionate. When we were looking to sell our house we needed to find an estate agent who was in our “our corner” someone who put our needs first. We were technically new to the whole house selling experience and house buying experience, having lived in the same house for 19 years. We were told that you need to avoid the local estate agents, “they charge percentages” , “they are only interested in the dearer houses”. We wanted to get our house up for sale first and I rang an online company who promise on TV they are the cheapest. I rang the local company to us Andrews and Gregg and another company not local but one I had met at a work event before. 1. The online “cheapest” company changed my valuation time and date three times 2. The company I had met at a work event seemed more interested in what houses we were looking to buy rather than the one we were looking to sell and also struggled to fit us in for a valuation. Then came Andrews and Gregg, call answered straight away by the team and they booked the valuation in straight away and it was in a few days not 2 weeks like competitors. I was told Emma would be valuing our house and Emma arrived early in the day, followed all covid protocols, and the first words out to me where “ woah, this has real kerb appeal, this will fly” 😀 This was amazing for me as we were worried about how to seek a house, would it sell, how do we do this. And this person I met in their first interaction with me made me feel my house was a Palace. When Emma was looking around the house and doing the Magic, I still had 2 other companies booked in for valuations After looking around the house Emma gave me her verdict on what we could expect to receive for the house. I was already sold on Emma the person, Locality (shop local), the professionalism of the service, I was happy to give Andrews and Gregg the business even though not price had been discussed. It was only after saying to Emma could we sell the house with Andres and Gregg was I gobsmacked at the low fee, it is the cheapest I had seen, a set fee also. One in hindsight is amazing value for the service. We didn’t go for price I went for the Valuers professionalism and determination they could sell my house. I then asked when will the photographer be back? Emma said I can do it now, which given I had taken just an hour or so from work was so convenient. It took Emma about 10-15 mins getting the right pictures, had amazing patience as I rearranged some furniture etc to get beat pictures. Emma promised that the house would be up by 5 that evening on all relevant websites. We signed the contract and that evening I looked on Property Pal and I was nearly buying our own house. Pictures were fantastic and did my house justice. This was a Friday evening and on Monday morning our dedicated sales agent in the firm Andrew was on to tell us that we had two viewings for the Tuesday. And the house sold on the Tuesday afternoon. Not even two full working days on the sites. Unfortunately our first buyers pulled out after a week and we were distraught, however Emma phoned to say never fear I will have the house back up And viewings within two days. She was 100 right. And we had three more viewings and three more offers and a sale again within 2 days. Emma was always reachable on the mobile, Ben and Andrew were brilliant in the office. And if I ever wanted to move again I would not go anywhere else. Don’t believe the online hype of some other companies. However that did not conclude our story with Andres and Gregg as we then viewed around four of their properties and the one we fell in love with was being sold by Andrews and Gregg. I personally did not view the property as my wife and mother went, Why you ask!? The pictures of the property were amazing and gave me a great sense of the property, but the video of the property was just like my own guided tour. The whole process All the staff were amazing and gave advice, and guidance. Without them I could not have dealt with the whole legal Process. They always showed me the light at the end of the tunnel.
