M. D.I rented with UAP, Paul and Margaret, for a year and it was an excellent choice. I contacted them from Germany and was able to rent an apartment without any problems. When I arrived in Belfast, they handed me the keys and introduced me to my apartment, answering all my questions.
They are extremely friendly and professional letting agents who do everything to make you feel comfortable. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a great renting experience in Belfast.
K. S.I rented with UAP, Paul and Margaret, last year as part of a flat share and have recently just signed for another year in a 1 bedroom apartment. I've had nothing but a positive experience during my rentals so far. They are both very helpful and have been accommodating for all living circumstances. Flats are kept in good condition with cleaning services and painting done before the start of tenancy's, where necessary. Always at the other end of an email or phone call, willing to support their tenants in whatever way they can!

All of their properties are finished to the highest standard and any issue is fixed immediately with no hesitation. They are never difficult to get in contact with and any issues are generally fixed the next working day. Nothing is an inconvenience and they really care about the safety and well being of all their tenants. They treat student tenants with respect which is a rare thing to experience from a student estate agent in Belfast! As the other reviews reflect, they really are just lovely people.
We will not be able to let with them again this year but hope to again in the near future as it has been such a hugely positive experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent in Belfast.
K.100% the best letting agency in Belfast (and even further) I couldn’t fault Paul or Margaret, they are so lovely and can’t do enough for you! Not one problem the whole year, unlike 95% of the letting agency’s/landlords in Belfast who don’t care about the tenants just the ££! My only regret is that they aren’t my letting agency this year! A. L.Coming from a student's perspective, they are the best landlords in Belfast. I have had a few run-ins with difficult landlords in the past and heard stories from friends where they have been bullied by landlords and treated terribly. But this is not the case; Paul and Margret are really genuine, lovely people. They work very hard to ensure all their tenants are happy and comfortable in their homes, any issues we had were resolved extremely quickly. For example, when the fridge stopped working we had one before the day was over and the old one was removed. We requested a new mattress and it was there the next day, with old one taken also, this removed any hassle for us. When we did not know how to use the boiler, due to it being a different model than we had before, Margret came round after the work day was finished and helped us with it. Any issue, no matter how minor, was very promptly sorted out and it was a pleasure to have them as landlords. I cannot speak for every student's experience but as long as you treat them with respect, you get respect back, which is incredibly refreshing given how some landlords feel they can act. I will be returning to university next year, after taking a year out, and intend to go back to Paul and Margret at University Area Properties, as the property manager/estate agent is very integral to how comfortable you will be in a property.

A. L.This was my first year living in Belfast as a student with two other girls who have both lived previously in student accommodation. When looking for a flat they both suggested going to University Area Properties as they were sure they could cater to our needs as they had rented properties off them before. We wished to live somewhere around Botanic where it was close to shops, cafes and transportation to uni but also wanted somewhere relatively quiet and requested to stay outside of the 'Holylands'.
Paul was very welcoming and honest when he took us on a tour of flats he had lined up for us. We found the perfect place on Ireton street. It was kept very well and clean with three bedrooms, two spacious bathrooms and a living/dining area.
Every time I called into the office to give in my months rent I was always warmly greeted by Margaret who was very keen to know how we were getting on with the flat and if everything was okay.
If we did have any problems for example, a lock on a door not working, they were very quick to come and fix it.
If I plan on staying up in Belfast again in the future I will definitely be calling in to see Paul and Margaret, both very helpful and kind.

J. R.Been with University Area Properties for 4 years now. The first year was in shared accommodation and then the last 3 years have been in a one bedroom flat. The transfer from shared to 1 bed was outstandingly easy as the deposit was transferred over and all was done for me by Paul and Margaret.
If there was anything needed fixed, which there rarely was, it was sorted the next working day. Any time I have needed to text about something I always get a swift and helpful reply or phonecall.
Honestly, couldn't recommend them more. Be a shame to leave after this year.
