Purchased our property through Danes at Sheldon 7 years ago & service was brilliant. We decided to sell & after having a couple of agents out for a quote, we decided on Danes. Best thing we did, service was fab & Jo who deals with all the chasing up is the best! Good value for money, friendly staff & no hidden extras in the price! As soon as I walked into the office I knew that this was the agents I wanted to sell my home. After having an awful past experience of a large chain of estate agents I wanted to have an agent I could trust. An agent that would look for buyers rather a buyer to sell the mortgages to. I explained that I needed a buyer who could complete quickly as I we needed to move in the school holidays as we were relocating to the North East From the moment my house was placed on the market in late April to it being sold in July. I was kept up dated by Ann-Marie and Sam .The after sales /completion service with Jo was brilliant as you had someone to call who called you back rather than having to ring a call centre. I would thoroughly recommend.

Sam and her team provided an excellent and swift service, just 10 weeks from start to finish. With Ann Marie keeping us in touch with progress and viewings. This was after an appalling experience with the local office of a large group. Sam and her team achieved more in the first two weeks than the other lot did in four months.

A massively thank you to the team, especially Jo who worked tirelessly to get our property sold. The house originally went up for sale at the start of the year, sold extremely quickly and smoothly, and was originally due to exchange and complete at the end of March. However, the Covid 19 pandemic caused unprecedented disruption and lead to the first time buyer in the chain to pull out at the 11th hour. As you can imagine this caused immense uncertainty and stress. However, Jo remained a lifeline of support and information throughout an extremely challenging period. She was relentless in her persuit to find information from solicitors and other estate agents within the chain, and kept us up to date every step of the way. I know that we would have not been the only clients that she was dealing with, yet every time we spoke with Jo we were left feeling like we were her only priority and I had absolute confidence that we would sell as and when the market reopened again. When it finally did, the deal was back on within a week and we exchanged and completed last week. Much of what has gone on over the last few months was completely out of ours and Jo's control, and all one can ask for during those times is to be kept in the loop and given honest support and help. Thank you for everything you did for us. To anyone reading this you'd be crazy to go to any other agent.

Buying our home was not the easiest process to say the least, it was no some sailing at all but Melvyn Danes made the whole process such much better and in particular Jo Green is an absolute legend.
