A huge thank you to the Scriven & Co Team for persisting in finding Tom and I our perfect first home. The team have been very responsive and informative, thank you to Katie who was always at hand when we had any queries or questions we had. At the start, George was amazing and the reason we went with Scrivens. We were buying a property marketed by them as well as selling our own through them. We even started recommending them to family and friends. As soon as prices were agreed, it's almost as if things stopped and if it wasn't for my wife chasing all concerned on an almost daily basis, we would have not gone through with the sales on account of the imminent closure of the stamp duty holiday. It felt to us that as long as the purchase was done, it didn't matter when contracts were exchanged but to us, because of the stamp duty, it would matter... massively and the chain would have fell apart as a result. There's been no follow-up either for feedback, to see how everything is etc As I said at the start, George is the reason for the 3, otherwise it would have easily been a 1 or a 2.
