I found my rental property through Connells. Jess was very friendly, helpful and fast to respond, and also was more than willing to liaise directly with a furniture company and a friend regarding key collection (as I was not local) making it a much smoother move-in process for me. The one issue I found was there was some weeks between paying the holding deposit and the tenancy agreement being signed, which I was told that the landlord would not be chased until 2 days prior to commencement of tenancy. If this wait time which left me in a state of uncertainty could be reduced, it would certainly be 5 stars.

She did a fab job of mediating between both parties, pushing buttons where needed and a gentle hand when emotional stress got the better of me. I cannot recommend Connells enough! Chantelle from the Winton branch came out to give me a valuation on my property, along with 4 other agents. I was very undecided whether to sell the property or purchase my ex partner out. Unlike all the other agents Chantel actually gave me a honest valuation (with evidence to back it up ) and didn’t over value the property to convince me to sell. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the other agents. She sat with me and explained the positives and the negatives or selling and not selling and helped me make the best decision for me! She talked me through how the market currently was and what properties I would find within my price range .
