The sale of our house with the Meyers team completed on the 28th May 2021. From start to finish, the whole team have been super efficient, friendly and supportive. 10/10 I recently used Meyer's services for buying a property and felt compelled to write a review. The professionalism and friendly nature of all the staff I dealt with at Meyer's helped make this process as straight-forward as possible and hassle free. In particular, Carrie's dedication to the job really helped. She would always keep me in the loop, often when she was not obliged to, which really helped me know where I was with things during the sale. No query was left unanswered and it seemed nothing was too much for her and the team to help me out with. Lottie was also so helpful and friendly throughout the process. Even during moments of incessant emailing from me, she was always friendly, patient and helped with that sense of 'this feels right' during the process of the transaction. Loretta initially showed me the property and was professional, friendly and helpful. If there is one phrase I could use to describe my experience with Meyers it would be 'above and beyond'. The staff seemed to do more than they needed to for me from day one. I have recommended them already :)

We purchased a property advertised by Meyers. David was brilliant throughout the process. I hope the vendor appreciates his hard work and efforts. Unfortunately our solicitors were useless, and he did his utmost to help where he could, liaising with the sellers solicitors telling us what we could do etc. After a stressful few months we completed!! The best estate agent experience we have had by far. Over the last 12-18 months we have experienced a lot of the local estate agent in Southbourne/Bournemouth and hands down Meyers have been the best. James was the only estate agent that called when he said get would, stayed in regular contact, chased without being chased as was always the most well informed in the chain. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Meyers Customer service is outstanding, James and the team go above and beyond to help you from start to finish with chasing solicitors, keeping you updated rather than ignoring your calls like a lot of other estate agents and just genuinely always being at the end of the phone if you ever need to speak to anyone. I once called James at 9pm on a Saturday night and he was more than happy to answer any questions I had, you really can’t get that kind of customer service with any other agent. All the staff at Meyers are really genuinely nice, professional, honest, trustworthy and nothing was ever to much trouble. My little boy once lost his favourite teddy whilst viewing a house, Dave drove back to the house to find it and then dropped it back off to us, he made one little boy and his parents very happy, Dave didn’t have to do this but it’s these personal touches that make them stand out from the crowd. They have that personal touch which I think is lacking in a lot of these estate agents, it can be very stressful time selling and buying houses but James and the Meyers team as a whole always made us feel looked after, genuinely cared for and supported. We used a few other estate agents in the past to sell our house and they we’re rubbish in comparison to Meyers and I can genuinely say I would never recommend any other estate agent other than Meyers to anyone. If you have a busy working life but need an estate agent that’s flexible and contactable at anytime or a first time buyer that needs an estate agent that you can trust and guide you on your way or if your a family that find the whole process of looking at house with young children very stressful (like we did) but want an agent that will help you rather than thinking the whole process is just as much of a nightmare as you do or if your an older person who finds the whole process of selling your family home that you’ve built memories on emotional and daunting but need an estate agent that’s going to understand this and give you the support you need then look no further then Meyers, they really are the best in the business and with competitive rates, you really can’t go wrong. The process of putting the house on the market (the day lockdown 1.0 started oops) to all the viewings we had and almost immediate update on the feed back from the viewings. The process of finally accepting an offer and helping us keep our forward chain moving to get us moved out on time went above and beyond our expectations. No doubt there's a part in all of us who would like to believe our house is worth a fortune (relatively speaking). Unfortunately this tendency is then bolstered by the majority of estate agents who tend to 'exaggerate' YOUR valuation - and of course before you know it you've signed on the dotted line, your house is in THEIR shop window/website and your quickly left dreaming (yet again) of spending said 'fortune'. Experience eventually taught us (and I'm sure for many of you already) that fooling ourselves (and being fooled) only led/leads to month after month of either no viewings or indeed viewings by people who simply couldn't afford it (£80k below the asking price comes to mind) or by those who simply wanted to have a 'nose'. As such, and on this occasion, we were absolutely determined to avoid endless and always very disappointing viewings that inevitably led to those unwarranted cleaning frenzies whereby the throwing of kids and pets over fences became the norm. And so to our amazement we actually found an estate agent that is like no other (and I'm not exaggerating); that being - Meyers Estate Agents. It was like a breath of fresh air when I first met Dave because from start to finish I knew I was dealing with a real professional - his market/subject knowledge was above and beyond any other and my wife and I knew we'd found 'the one' because he not only spoke politely and with an open and honest approach but of course most importantly, he didn't 'exaggerate' our valuation. It was a realistic, dare I say perfect valuation because iwe ended up with more than we thought we'd get. I would like to add that we had zero 'time-wasters' throughout the whole process. If there was any 'bad news' Dave would promptly and honestly tell us how it was. He would give advice and update us regularly. He always found a solution to any issue that arose. Chris is a fantastic person and salesman, and indeed anyone we spoke to were always extremely helpful. And finally... when anyone from Meyers said they would call us back...they would actually call us back (other estate agents please take note). We genuinely can't thank Dave, Chris and the whole team enough for all your hard work - it was a real pleasure selling our house (a first for us) because you are all simply brilliant at your job (and like no other).
