Sharon was, without a doubt, the most involved agent I have ever had the pleasure of communicating with. She was proactive and worked diligently to keep things running smoothly, Her knowledge and expertise, together with her willingness to go above and beyond was so impressive I listed my flat with Maslen. We bought our house through maslen and it is only after dealing with other estate agents that you realise how above and beyond Sharon will go for you. I saw my now new home online on a Weds afternoon and popped round straight away to have a look at the outside. Just down the road is Woodingdean Maslens so I popped in to enquire about the property and found Sharon who was so friendly and welcoming that I found myself viewing the property the very next day! Not usually one for leaving a review I feel Sharon & the team at Maslen Woodingdean are more than worthy! Myself & my wife used Maslen Estate Agents to sell both our house and my parent's house in Woodingdean. There were a few issues with the sale along the way, but with the help of Sharon and the team we reached our goal. The whole team went above and beyond what was expected in order to liaise with myself, my wife and the buyers to ensure that everybody remained positive and to drive the sale forward. With their help the sale was brought to completion and both parties were happy. They all kept us very well informed and made what could have been a stressful process quite straightforward. They were very honest and professional at all times and didn't mind us getting touch even with the slightest query. When the viewings were taking place the communication from Maslen relating to how each viewing went was excellent in my opinion with immediate feedback after each viewing. Cannot say enough about my Estate Agents up in Woodingdean. Have bought and sold properties for years and these are the best Agents by far. l received full asking price, the highest price achieved for my area, plus l was out of my home within 5 weeks of the the offer received. Not only that but the property l wanted to buy l was having such problems dealing with that Estate Agent as they were not very professional and after awhile felt the will to live fade! Nearly gave up buying my dream home but l asked Sharon to step in and deal with the Agent until an asking price was agreed and we were able to carry on forward with the sale. l can honestly say if Sharon had not helped in this matter we would not now be in our new home, definitely went above and beyond what a "normal" Estate Agent would have done. Reviews are not something I tend to do, however this is the one occasion it would gladly write one. I was looking for a house to buy in Woodingdean having lived there for 20 years. My position was tough due to budget and the price demanded for the area. Sharon and Megan were great nothing was to much trouble and they genuinely wanted to help me find the right place. A bungalow came up, (not quite what I was looking for) but I thought it is worth a look and Sharon thought it could be perfect. I fell in love with the place the moment I walked in the door and Sharon was right. Being in a good buying position helped make the purchase happen in 8 weeks, with the Maslen team working hard for both myself and the vendor. Dave Maslen came around to give me a quote towards the end of 2018 to sell our house . I also decided to get a quote from purplebricks as I’d seen all the advertising on TV . £1000 with purplebricks or £4000 with Maslen’s . I picked purplebricks as I thought it was a no brainer . Dave did his utmost to persuade me to go with Maslen’s but my mind was made up and I was sure that I knew a bargain when I saw one ! Suffice to say after near on 6 months with purplebricks with absolutely zero viewings to show for it I went tail between legs back to Maslen’s to ask for forgiveness and give them a try as I knew the market was quite slow . Sharon and her team worked wonders with a constant stream of viewings each providing invaluable feedback afterwards . I came to trust and respect them all . We managed to get a buyer quite quickly and again the support and service was impeccable from the Woodingdean branch .
