We've been with Parks continuously as landlords since 1995, and the sheer length of time should speak for itself about the quality service we've received. It's tricky to keep both landlords and tenants happy while ensuring that everything is legal, and Parks do this with great skill and experience. First spoke to someone called Guy who booked me in for a couple of viewings very quickly for the next day. Whilst he was on holiday another member of staff called Ant helped me with all my queries and kept me up to date with everything going on with the property we were choosing to rent and what I needed to submit. Recently we underwent the rental process with Paul at Parks Lettings (Brighton). After a really stressful process of having to find a flat with short notice, we found our current flat which Paul really eased us through the process of renting whilst being friendly & professional throughout. I rented a flat in the centre of Brighton for about 7 months through Parks Letting. I had been in Brighton for almost 10 years since my uni days and I've rented through private landlords, student accommodation focused agencies and letting agencies for professionals. My experience with Parks Letting has been the most pleasant. We had some problems initially when I first moved in as there were some problems with the flat, my bedroom needed repainting and the skirting was broken amongst other things. While I had expected these to have been fixed prior to moving in, nothing had been officially agreed so that is fair enough. I mentioned this to Parks after moving in and they fixed everything within a week, even going beyond what I had requested. During my tenancy I had some minor issues with a washing machine breaking and things of that nature and all I had to do was send a quick email to my Parks' property manager James Smith and he would send someone around to get things fixed. I did not renew the contract as I moved to a different city but if I hadn't moved I would definitely be staying with Parks. In the end, the checkout was effortless. I took care of the property and I was happy that Parks acknowledged it. I didn't have to argue my case as it's happened many times with other agencies... I highly recommend Parks Lettings and I’m really thankful for James to have made my letting an enjoyable one.

Outstanding Service! I contacted Parks Letting along with 3 larger agencies to see if they would be interested in finding tenants for me for a flat I was in the process of purchasing! Parks were the most professional and responsive and dealt with my enquiry immediately. The property completed and they had arranged 5 viewings on the first day of marketing, one of which secured the property at the full asking rental and four days later the tenants moved in! They dealt with the whole process including minor repairs and obtaining the required certification in the short time frame smoothly and efficiently, even with all the Covid restrictions and I could not rate them highly enough. We cannot fault Parks at all, they keep their flats in a beautiful condition, have really friendly staff and are great at follow-up. They are also really open to feedback. We would have loved to go through Parks but sadly they just didn't have the right property for us at the time. From the get-go, Amy was very professional with setting up the initial viewing and when it came to moving in, the whole process was smooth with good communication. I lived in a flat Parks let and managed for 6 years (2013-2019). I've never managed to stay anywhere that long in Brighton because property management is typically so aggro or accomodation so poor. Parks are radically different than most agents in Brighton: they treat tenants with respect, communicate openly, and maintain their properties well. I don't think it ever took more than 2 working days for me to get a reply to any query and everyone I dealt with was friendly and efficient. I even got all my deposit back - no quibbling over reasonable wear on carpets etc! You can't go wrong with them, I recommended them to all my friends.

Leading up to the viewing we were kept up to date by Parks, we spoke with Adam on the majority but also Lauren kept us up to date. Even at the office we were offered coffee and waters. Everything was well detailed when it came to the property being handed to us with the keys, they even noted small scuff marks which we wouldn't be responsible for once moved out as they were already there. An issue some companies don't consider! All in all, smooth easy experience and they even accepted requests to remove an item as we had our own etc. Would definitely use again.

Their advice was invaluable - they know what they're talking about. I think their local knowledge gives them the edge here because Brighton can be so diverse. I have just moved into a property with Parks lettings and have so far had a mixed experience. Initial service was very good. I dealt with Charlotte Baker with whom i viewed several flats and she was very helpful in assisting me with securing the flat that i wanted. However i was then handed to a colleague who is supposedly responsible for processing my guarantor and references. I found this process extremely disorganized and badly managed. Communication was poor and when i did speak with my contact she didnt seem to know what she was talking about, let alone tell me what i needed to send to her. When i did finally sign the contract, i dealt with another member of staff Jo Dawkins, who was very efficient and well organised and restored my faith somewhat. In a nutshell, great front office staff, however the back office needs improvement.
