M. P.Could not be more pleased with SSL. Rented accommodation through them for 3 years, and from what I've heard we had the best experience compared to every other lettings agents. No agency fees was great as poor students, they are prompt dealing with any issues you bring to them, super clear about what they expect in terms of cleaning and house maintenance, very friendly when you go to them with queries and always available! The office on campus was very helpful for us to communicate with them, and Sophie Cannon especially has made our time in student accommodation run smoothly and has provided lots of guidance, above and beyond what we would've expected and greatly appreciated!

I have wanted to pass on some of the responsibility for some time but the feedback I was getting from students who had rented from Agents was not good and I did not feel they could provide the standard of care we were looking for.. However Sussex Student Lettings contacted me and I was convinced that they had the best interests of the students at heart and so I handed over all our houses to them for a full management service. The first property that was recommended by the staff was exactly what we were looking for and we were able to visit the property within the same week. The property itself was in very good condition when we moved in. Furthermore any questions we had about the finances we could expect to receive through renting a house (as this was new to all of us) they were happy to help and fully explained everything we needed to know. We had heard several horror stories about renting student properties in Brighton, however for us this wasn't the case and I cannot thank the team at Sussex Student Lettings enough for such a smooth and easy experience.

K. M.After months of anxiety looking through various estate agents, I truly felt that Sussex Student Lettings are the best option. Clearly made for the students and not profit, the team are helpful, friendly, and are there to listen. Handy office on campus, no agency fees are charged, and free help with tenancy agreements or any queries you may face. ALL the staff I have encountered are fantastic, but member of staff Sophie has been especially great at making us all comfortable and knowledgeable when approaching moving into private sector accommodation. They also promote a brilliant scheme in partnership with the University of Sussex, the Uni Guarantor scheme - those without a guarantor can use the university as one, which is so helpful for international students, and those without UK guarantors.
I move into my property in Sept. 2018, but my overall experience and excellent customer service has really made me feel confident to be using Sussex Student Lettings!
